Most of my devices and accessories including charging cables are USB-C. I have a Samsung Tab A 8 inch tablet that is just the right size for reading books and other purposes. Unfortunately its port is Micro-USB.The Basesailor adapter converts the port to USB-C so I can conveniently use all USB-C accessories including charging cables and USB drives like a T5 SSD.This adapter is extremely well made and looks good and works well. It doesn't seem to compromise throughput speed.The little key chain attached to it makes it better than I expected. I use it to keep the adapter attached to a USB-C charging cable so it is convenient when I need it and and keeps this tiny item from getting lost. (I would just keep it plugged into the tablet but the port is on the bottom so it is awkward to have the adapter sticking out).Shopping for this actually took some research, so I appreciated the Basesailor website. Most similar-looking adapters that one sees listed are Micro-USB female to USB-C male that people buy so they can use their old cables with new devices (?).I wanted just the opposite. So it took some effort to find what I was looking for and discern and select a good product among many options, some questionable.. I am happy with my decision.

I have a newer phone which uses USB-C connection.My truck has a dash board mounted fast QI/Wireless charger which uses an Older microusb connection.The cable to that legacy QI charger broke.To give me the the most complete charging options possible I specifically bought a 1ft long USB-C cable and these adapters.This allows my QI charger to continue to work the same as beforebut at the same time if I really need the superior speed of hard-wire fast chargingI can simply un-plug the adapter and cable directly USB-C into my phone.The adapters came in a 3-pack: 1 solid black, 2 grey with black trim.All three worked perfectly, all three allowed the QI charger to "fast" charge my phone.BTW: a USB-C cable end has no up/down orientation and this adapter respects that fact and everything just "works" as expected when the USB cable is connected.

When i receive this items the black adapter fit loosely on my phone causing it not to charge unless i push it in hard while holding it however the gray one work fine.

These adapters are durable which is a definite plus when you have children. They allowed me to convert a USB C cord back to USB Micro so that I did not have to buy separate charging cables for all of the devices that use USB Micro. I have bought adapters in the past for this same purpose, including ones that have short leader wires, and they seemed to immediately wear after the first time they are plugged in to a device. After the first time, they never have that same locked-in, sturdy connection ever again and decline progressively while lasting only a minute fraction of their advertised 10,000 plus plug-ins. My experience with these adapters, however, is that the plug snaps in and holds consistently. Although time will ultimately tell, these adapters have a feel that makes me confident they will be much more durable, and hold up as promised. They have been working fine with both regular chargers as well as 2.0 and 3.0 fast chargers. The key chain feature is great to prevent them from getting lost or swiped by one of the kids. The seller stands behind their product and is highly customer focused.

These little connectors are not expensive and adapt my new USB C cords to my older Micro USB devices. They mate snugly and securely on both ends. I have had zero problems with charging or data flow. And I particularly like the little chains and clips they come with. I keep one of these connected to my car keyring so I have it wherever I go. I find this a better solution than continuing to invest in both USB C cords and Micro USB cords, and it helps if I forget my own cord and can only borrow one with a C connector.

The adapter's ability to charge my devices is inconsistent. The fit doesn't seem to be of high quality because I have to hold the cable a certain way to make sure the metal pins inside the microUSB tip make complete contact with the device I'm plugging it into. It's just too loose. When I switched back to a regular microUSB cable, voila! It works. This means there's nothing wrong with the device I'm trying to charge, and that the fault lies with this adapter. I'll give it 3 stars because it technically does work when you manage to get the pins aligned juuuuusssst right and you don't move anything while it's charging.

Very... very... very nice product, exactly what I'm looking for with a nice and charming design, the chain is a must for sure, I bought this adapter to use my power bank which is for Galaxy S10 so, my powerbank has a direct usbc cable and this adapter helps me to charge my VAP machine. So cute, thanks a lot!

Is very loose when plugged into cell phone!
