I have a good quality 60cm long level but needed a smaller one to get into tight spaces. This one does the job brilliantly well, and allowed me to install wooden shelves in a very tight closet.

Several of my levels are Stanley Fax Max ones which are good and sturdy but the aluminium gets badly stained by cement which tends to cling to the milled surface. The Hultafors ones by comparison - being very similar in price - feel fairly flimsy and 'lightweight'. I have dismissed my initial predudice, however, because these are excellent levels. I have two of them and the good points are: (i) they are lightweight but strong (ii) the bubbles are clear and easy to see (iii) the anodised aluminium finish is excellent as cement residue just wipes off, and if any has set it comes off easily - with no marks on the aluminium. So, all in all, an excellent range of levels, although in many ways I still prefer my Fat Max ones because of their 'feel', but that's really just my prejudice, although I suggest you try and see these in 'the flesh' in order that you can ascertain your personal preference.
