What happened
I had a older version of this chair and after it broke I decided to get another one because it was very comfortable and held up. This is not the same chair. It was smaller and not nearly as comfortable. Plus it tilted to the side after a short period of time. Bring back the old one!!

fine, solid, chair and a bargain
It's not the old La Z Boy and probably isn't made in the USA. However, it is solid and very well made. That was a hallmark of La Z Boy office furniture and I furnished two law offices with its products. This is not as fine a piece as other La Z Boy's I've owned, but is a great bargain at the price, which is a fraction of what I've paid in the past. It is far superior to other brands in this price range and is very comfortable. Only time will tell as to how it holds up.The only complaint I have is the hard plastic casters. I ordered a replacement set from Amazon with soft wheels and which use ball bearings. Of course, hard plastic casters are used on all competing products in this price range.
