Red Panda & Moon Bear

My students are going to devour this book and be hounding me for more Jarod Rosello, I know it. Red Panda & Moon Bear are the sweetest siblings in kidlit. They show their love for each other in ways big and small, and it was a joy to see. There are so many books for kids in which the siblings can't stand each other. This was a refreshing change!Red Panda & Moon Bear started off very silly, but I found myself really drawn in to some of the later chapters. Kids will be pulled in by the funny & outrageous, and they'll definitely stick around for the more thought-provoking and sentimental chapters as the book goes on.I'm seriously hoping Red Panda and Moon Bear become regulars in the graphic novel world. I'd love to spend more time with these characters (and their dog-alien-friends!).

Got this for a my frephew's birthday and he finished it in one night and is demanding more, so y'all need to read this and get us some more. It's a delightful romp and works great for younger readers to get them engaged.

This was a funny, entertaining graphic novel. I loved the elements of culture and the small lessons included. Highly recommend this for young readers. They will definitely love it!

A humorous tale of two Latinx siblings fighting crime, while at the same time, making sure they do not get in trouble. Red Panda and Moon Bear are each filled with positivity which reassures their community members that they will get the job done! Of course, Red Panda and Moon Bear take all their mysteries seriously, but as an adult reader, I often laughed at the quirky characters and the sibling bond. Each mystery, no matter how small, is met with enthusiasm and a teamwork approach, especially when they have to make their own time machine. It is this same bond that spreads positivity throughout all of their monstrous and robotic encounters in this much needed graphic novel.Red Panda and Moon Bear is a long-awaited, action-packed graphic novel, now in English and Spanish. RED PANDA & MOON BEAR is an action packed story of two crime-fighting, adventure-seeking siblings who get their powers by wearing magical hoodies. They strive to keep their neighborhood safe from all sorts of villains and try to solve mysteries affecting their community along the way. Funny and sweet, I had a permanent grin while reading and a wave of nostalgia of playing as a kid and using my imagination to ward off boredom. The cute duo inspires kindness, understanding, and creativity that will speak to readers of all ages. Red Panda and Moon Bear embrace their family and heritage with some Spanish dialog that was easy to follow with the awesome, colorful art throughout. I loved RED PANDA & MOON BEAR and all of it’s charm and wisdom—definitely a must have for my students and school library!

Red Panda & Moon Bear is the kind of delightful story that belongs in all school libraries. Although it's billed for grades 4-7, younger readers (and their parents) also can enjoy the adventures of this new dynamic duo.

My 8 year old son loved it and so did I. The story is great - fun and touching. The illustrations made us giggle as well. Totally recommended.
