My 80 lb, 20 month coon hound mix can destroy Any dog toy! He's Mr. super chewer, and he works at it methodically for hours patiently with his giant teeth (did I mention he's part St. Bernard?). Not these wonderful rope toys! He freakin' Loves them- runs around with them in his mouth, tossing them in the air and catching them, pulling on the strings trying to loosen them (ineffectively, lol, they are twisted and sewn down TIGHT). He loves to chew them too, he seems to like the mouth feel much better than say, a plastic type hard bone. They are the 1st toys he picks to play with in his toy basket every time! These toys were described as "Indestructible toys for aggressive chewers." This picture shows what our aggressive chewer managed to do in 10 minutes. It started out as a ring.I keep searching for a rope toy that will last, since our dog loves tug of war almost as much as he enjoys demolishing indestructible toys, but I haven't had much success so far. The rope ball in this set has fared better, but it's not a tug of war toy. The jury is still out on the knotted rope one.

These cloth items are cheaply made & dangerous for large dogs such as my one year old Pit Bull who chews constantly. In less than two days he had the cloth torn up with pieces of thread stuck in his teeth. We pulled a ball of thread/cloth out of his throat, then trashed everything we bought here because it wasn’t worth a trip to the veterinarian for surgery. It’s a shame that this cheaply made, dangerous items are even being sold here under false advertising. I expect more from Amazon.

Having a pit bull it is extremely hard to find toys that do not get shredded upon hitting the floor. After reading the reviews I decided to give these a try. I was impressed with most I read, was a plus it came with 3 and cost was definitely a perk!! After opening on Christmas I was so shocked how durable these are and how strong the ropes are. I am looking forward to how long these last and withstand the tugging and games of toss and catch. Typically a “store bought brand” Would have been shredded and in trash by now but since the last two weeks not even a thread out of place.So far based on what I’ve seen, I would recommend this toy for larger breads. The toys are heavy so would not recommend for smaller dogs.

I have a nine month old Doberman that is an aggressive chewer. I have been trying to find toys for him that will last for a few months at least. He destroyed his last rope toy but it was one that he had for quite a few months. I thought that this would be a good purchase since it's three different toys. He loved them. However, they didn't even make it a month before they started unraveling. They weren't the only things that he was chewing on so it's not like he was constantly playing with them. I would continue to tie them back together so they would last longer, but they eventually just became pieces of string all over my floor. This shouldn't be marked for aggressive chewers.

My youngest dog loves chew toys, but they do not last long with her. These toys are fairly durable, but she chewed the donut shaped rope in half within a few days. The rope ball is great and super durable. I also like the size of the toys, as they can be used to play fetch in addition to chewing.

Puppy was delighted with his new toys and promptly went to work on the round tug (new shape for him). Unfortunately, it only lasted about a day or so. Still kept him busy and entertained (it tosses easily!). I'm sure the knot and knotted tug will last longer. Items did not have any weird smells and puppy took to them right away - a win win to me.

I gave these to my one year old thirty pound pomsky on Sunday and one is already ruined in one day. I highly doubt the others will last much longer once she gets ahold of it. The challenging part is finding toys that last long enough for the money being spent.
