A Great Leap Forward for making repairs to plumbing!
The advent of "quick connect" fittings has been a real leap in repairing leaks especially in hard to get to areas. These Watts fittings work great and are so easy to install or even remove if necessary. I have been doing plumbing for over 20 years now and between these type of fittings and Pex tubing and fittings, things have gotten much easier for not only repairs but even the installation of whole house water systems!

This fitting is for 1/2" ID not 1/2" OD.
This is a great fitting, but be sure to order the correct size! This fitting is for 1/2' ID not 1/2" OD. I was not aware of this and ordered the wrong size for my application.

These fittings are sized by there O.D. but this is for the I.D.
Hey Vendor - Follow the standards and conventions that EVERYONE else in the world uses. For quick connect tubing fittings this is OD!! You wasted my time and money

I bought two of these, one to fix a leaky elbow in my RV and one for a spare. The elbow leaked badly and flooded my RV. Found a brass sharkbite in my shed and the problem was fixed in a minute. Threw both of these plastic junk elbows in the garbage where they belong.
