Perfect
Excellent starter motor. My OEM starter was getting tired and had a weak start. This solved that problem. Strong start. Seems excellent quality

Very Happy to have my Bike back up.
Took only two days to get it after they said a week, very happy with that. After changing the starter relay, the battery, and having people tell me it was the starter clutch, an old man said change the starter. Easy out, easy in. Price was great, went to bike dealership and they wanted 175.00. Now if will only stop raining on my days off...

Short lived starter
The starter worked 6 months. Buy the warranty

It's every but as good as the crappy factory one.
It's been almost a year and it cranks like it should so far. It's still a wussy starter, but it's just like the stock one.

So far so good
As of October 23, 2019, to today's date (11/6/2019) everything has been working fine. The old starter completely fell apart and came out in pieces. The new one slid right in and the bike started right up after 4 months.

Worked like a charm
After being told that my starter clutch was bad by the dealer and replaceing it to the tune of $409 only to hear the same sound, I ordered this starter. It fit perfectly and and has worked fine. Of course we haven't had much riding weather lately but so far so good.Two years latter: I sold this bike last month and as of that time and 10,000 mi, no problems.

died after 80 days - no waranty , even though 'brand new'
I bought this started on Aug 20, 2020 and it stopped working on Nov 10th, 2020.Calling this companies phone number for a warranty RMA is a joke - you are instantly put on hold.. forever ..(how many hours is reasonable to wait on hold when the message tells me i'm 1st in line??)so, while this product fit exactly and looks very new and well built, it did not last for me.and now it appears that getting warranty coverage isn't real with this company.be warned.

Shipping was fast. Putting the new starter in my V Star 1100 was too easy (only two bolts) and it started right up. Had the starter since May 2017 and never had any problems with it. Good product.
