Mesh Dome Style Wig Cap by Qfitt 5011 Black

I have tried many wig caps before this one, different styles, types of netting, band widths,etc. I usually buy caps from my local Beauty Supply but I had never seen this one. I bought this on a whim while I was buying a foam head from amazon and it has become my favorite! It is so strong and sturdy and there's a lot of stretch. The band is also super comfy and not too tight. I made a U-part with it and I haven't had any problems. I recently happened upon this cap in my beauty supply (months after this online purchase) and bought like 4 of them so I probably wont need to buy from amazon again but I love the product!

I have a smaller head measuring at almost 21 inches for the circumference of my head, so for me.. it was perfect, with just enough snug room so that when I make my wig, it may get tighter but not too tight to the point where it wont fit. With traditional dome caps I have to cut off the entire band to make it fit, so I love the fact that I don't have to cut anything unless making a upart. Its durable, but has enough ventilation so your head doesn't get too hot & since its not made out of cotton like some traditional dome caps, it wont suck up all your hairs natural moisture while its under the wig. I love it! I need to find it in bulk!

I make wigs for myself and other people and this cap fit all sizes; for the units I made. Me on the other had, I have a very small head, so sometimes I have to adjust the cap and sometimes I don't depending if the unit is a closure or lace frontal. I can only find these caps in New Orleans, which sucks because I live in Fl.

Worked wonderfully! Loved how the mesh is breathable. The band around the head is strong and gave me no troubles when using my thread and needle to see on the hair to the cap. I used a lace closer and did not cut the mesh from underneath the closer once completed. I didn't feel there was a need after I tweeted my closer part And applied concealer, the darker black cap underneath my closer was not detectable. I was able to wear the whip cap for a month an a half without it shifting or losing shape. This is a big deal because I am very active with my day to day activities and I even slept with my wig cap at night and had no issues. I will say after several wig washes the cap did begin to stretch out. This may be due to my washing and drying techniques. Currently I have four wig combs added to make the cap more secure. I purchased this cap after my friend Recommended it to me and it had great reviews. I am very pleased with this product an will be purchasing more for future wigs

This cap is very sturdy and it stretches if you have a big head. I sewed my weave on this wig and it looks nice and is still very sturdy. If one is not careful you can sew the wefts too tight and the cap will draw up a bit causing it to be smaller. For that reason I went to a professional stylist and the cap was in place after the wig was sewn just the same. The material feels very strong as well. I wish it came with clips because it does get a bit slippery at times but for now I use bobbi pins and hold it down. When I do have the time I sew the edge of the wig on to my hairline, but I do not wear it for moe than two days this way since it can be damaging to the hairline. I would recommend this cap for wigs especially if you cant find a good cap to sew your wefts instead of gluing.

This cap is wonderful. It is certainly stronger than a wig cap and comfortable for wig making. Just as it is pictured. Really nice fit, snug but not hard strapped. Perhaps if I was making a wig with super expensive hair, I might have bought one with straps and combs and pull tabs. But I think this will be far more comfortable. The mesh can hold up to glue, but I cant comment on sewing hair to the mesh because I havent tried that. It seems strong enough to support sown tracks. Excellent price, quick delivery

The media could not be loaded. This cap is perfect for making a wig by Hand or on a sewing machine. I make hand made wigs when my sewing machine is out for repairs.

This cap is a nice size but is a bit misleading. I'm just now really getting into sew ins and wigs and things. I wanted to make my own wig, by sew it. So I got a foam head, put this cap on it and started sewing to cap. The netting is wonderful and I was a little skeptical on how it would hold up with the weight of the hair and combing ect but no rips, even tho the cap already had one in it when I opened the pack. It was very easy. What I didn't know though is that once you sew the hair on, the cap no longer stretches. How can this cap advertise make your own wig but once the sew in is complete, it won't even go on your head since there is no give?I'm glad it was inexpensive and now I've learned something new tho so it's not a total loss. I guess this is for people to have the hair sewn to the cap while on your head. I don't have the skills to do my self and don't have someone to do for me so I'll have to try another options.
