Entry level Bidet with just what you need!
Gotta say after hearing several friends switch over to Bidets and how much they love them, I had to check out some options, I was due to buy a new toilet seat as it was. After my research and realizing I don’t need a heated seat, air venting, drying, led lights or music from my toilet seat I found this “analog” Bidet, just what I wanted, nice knobs which click in place, easy installation and the price was perfect. If you’re thinking about getting one and not sure, I would try this without worry.I have dogs and didn’t want any motion sensor turning my toilet on!I got the dual temp one as I wanted the control over the pressure, only hooked up cold water. It’s great, saves on toilet paper and easy to clean.

Happy Wife Happy Life!
Got this mainly for my wife after her double Carple tunnel surgery. It's very well made and easy to install. No leaks. The self cleaning and retractable spray wands work great. Self cleaning is a rinse, proper cleaning is still a good idea, like when you clean your toilet clean and sanitize the spray wands too. Soft close seat and lid is cool.P.S it's hilarious to show your wife how it works while she's standing in front of the toilet. Hehe

Now my guests can leave cleaner than they arrived...but there's a little design flaw!
The media could not be loaded. I was looking to replace the toilet seat in my hallway half-bath with a soft close, since I noticed that on occasion my guests would drop the seat a little hard. It's an older house and I guess folks are getting used to having a soft-close on everything. My half bath is tiny and has a small, round Eljer toilet from the 70s, so I was thrilled to find a combo that would fit it.Anyway, as a fan of bidets and occasional user of my own half bath, I thought this would be a great upgrade to get both out of the way. The price was right, and it was well reviewed!Installation took me less than 10 minutes. I noticed the water line length was pretty generous - many more inches than needed, so I had to tie some back a little. Unlike my other bidets which have a visible control knob, this one is semi-hidden to the side. At first, I thought it might be problematic since you can't see the usage label unless you look from the side (not possible in this tiny bathroom), but after giving it a "trial run" I realized it's fairly intuitive - turn it forward for front (feminine) use, and backward for....rear...use.Upon my very first use, I was initially pleased that turning it on and off required going through a "self-clean" setting, but after a few seconds I realized that perhaps that actually wasn't such a great idea. You see, the problem is that during self-clean, it's blasting water at full strength into wastewater. Wastewater that contains things you JUST got rid of. You will realize this is an issue as you feel the aerosolized contents landing on your skin. I consider this a bit of a design defenciency, but not so much that I'd dock it more than one star or return it. I'll just have to remember not to linger on the self-clean setting right after usage - although unfortunately my guests won't have the luxury of that knowledge. The soft-close works well. The included installation kit appears flexible enough to fit a variety of toilets with different seat hole offsets. Overall, it seems like a quality product with the exception of the forced self-clean cycle. I am now convinced that should ALWAYS be a separate function like it is on every other bidet I've ever purchased.I'm unsure if there are alternatives in this price range that do away with that deficiency, but depending on you feel about the potential splashback while shutting it off (not an issue if you're quick enough), I think it's a good buy.

Great value. Would buy again.
This is my first time purchasing a bidet. While there are a lot of bidets out there with various fancy features, e.g. heat/warm water, electronic controls, etc... and wondered if I would be missing out by not having those features, after purchasing and using the Brondell, I do not feel like I am missing out on anything. I also believe that keeping it simple means it will be less likely to break or fail. The bidet has one job to do and this unit does it well. It gets you clean and allows you to use less toilet paper. The interface is incredibly simple to use. Installation was a breeze and included everything you need. As for the lack of heat / warm water, this may vary from home to home, but I do not find the water cold at all. (I do keep a fairly fixed temperature on my thermostat, so I suspect my pipes do not get as cold as they otherwise could.)I will however add that my wife tried the feminine feature and found that the reach was not right for her. I can see how a woman might want one that offers more fine tuning. It is for this reason that I have given it 4 stars instead of 5. If you do not need the feminine feature, then this unit is a 5 out of 5.Aside from the feminine feature, if I could add just one thing to my wish list, it would be for a bidet seat made of ceramic/porcelain. I do not believe one exists on the market. That said, while I worried this seat would not be as comfortable or nice as the normal ceramic seat it replaces, I actually found this plastic seat to be more comfortable to sit on, such that I do not mind at all that it is plastic. The plastic does keep the cost down and means I would not worry much if it broke and needed replacing with a new unit.
