So good, so easy to use, cheap, lowers cholesterol, has fiber in addition to protein, whole food - the opposite of animal protein.

So it took me a long time to get the nerve to order soy curls but now I like to always keep them in my pantry. They really give good body to my soups and make a terrific sloppy joes. Good value also.

Love using these. They are so versatile. Nice that they are only soy, no other things added.

Incredibly versatile and great for making veganized versions of what you may have eaten before going vegan.Each bag will usually have some larger pieces and some fines, if you separate these out you can use them for different things.

Wasted some of the product early on because supplier didn’t bother to offer useful instructions -finally, I googled a good recipe after two tries. Texture is far better than tofu, similar and imo preferable to jackfruit especially since it’s easier to store. Soy curls are shipped dry and like dried mushrooms, need to be rehydrated before cooking. When using, rehydrate in broth or water then drain and squeeze out as much excess moisture as possible so any sauce used won’t be diluted. Soy curls are a game changer for me when preparing dishes that mimic pulled chicken because unlike cauliflower wings or jackfruit soy curls contain adequate protein. I suspect with the right seasonings you could mimic pulled pork as well. I would have given five stars if I hadn’t wasted so much without proper instructions on the bag.

I was only recently introduced to Butler Soy Curls. But after trying them once, I could imagine the wonderful possibilities that they could bring to a healthy, tasty plant based diet.They provide a little more plant-based fat and a big protein boost at low calories. They are fantastic in soups, stews or air-fried after re-hydrating.This bulk quantity that requires no refrigeration is food security for the pantry.It arrived on time and exactly as described in good packaging. It’s a great value for high quality, unadulterated food.I highly recommend it.

A vegan staple. Arrived packed well, fresh and delicious. I use mostly as a vegan chicken replacement and rehydrate them in Not Chick’n brand bouillon cubes with crushed poultry seasoning.
