Works as advertised
It worked for the purpose I ordered it for. I had originally ordered a more costly brand of hotfix tool from another company but cancelled the order due to it being on back order. After reading reviews decided to go for this one. Worked great and I saved some $$.

Surprised at the value and results... s-l-o-w go with adhering, but lovely results.
I don't usually write reviews. I've done a lot of crafting, clothing making, t-shirt art for decades. I decided to make some little t-shirt type dresses for my granddaughter (7 yrs old). I made a t-shirt quilt and kept the backs of the shirts... so these little dresses were cut from the backs of the t-shirts that I had used to make the quilt. I did "t-shirt painting" (cut stencils from freezer paper and painted the image with tri-chem stencil on paint) on white dresses, and decided to do "bling" on the black dress. Designed my own kitten face and transferred the image using the pin-prick method (prick holes in the paper and rubbed talcum powder (white) into the holes. A whole lot of work to get to the point of putting the sparkly kitten face and paws onto the "upcycled" little dress. Although the process of adhering the rhinestones is s-l-o-w, the results are really nice. I decided to use a timer to ensure I was "melting" the glue into the fabric--hoping the stones will adhere through many washings. It seems that my patience and using the timer (15-20 secs) has done a great job. AND now I have lots of rhinestones left to embellish many more items for her.

Bedazzled
These were hard to do, I just need some glue, not a hot gun
