Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this product simply because of the household name. I remember my Grandma using D-Con products. Am I happy I had to order this? Nope. We live in a new home. Just two years old. However, we live somewhat remote and surrounded by woods on one side and tall grass and fields on the other side. Prime place for these little field mice to come from. So I was sitting one morning reading my daily devotional and heard the dreaded noise. Anyone who has ever had a mouse in their crawlspace or anywhere in their house knows what I am talking about. I was down on my hands and knees ears pressed to the wall so irritated at what was happening. I ended up outside where much to my surprise I saw the little mouse, pop up out of a hole next to my house and sit there washing it's face. I wash going to kill it. Right! It ran back in the hole and back out just teasing me while I stood there annoyed. Well anyway, I ordered these and some outdoor bait boxes to put this stuff in. I sat one little trap up and then told my husband he could do the others. A couple of days passed and he and I went to complete the mission. There in front of the door into our crawl space near the little trap was a dead mouse!!! We put more traps out and some bait under the house. We don't cats (obviously) so we tossed the blocks under the house without using traps. Maybe that is discouraged but honestly nothing is getting in there but rodents and death to them. I opened the trap I had put out a couple of days before and all the bait was gone! In two days they'd eaten it all. I was trying not to freak out about that. How many mice were there? Or how much did one eat? Anyway, this morning the day after we placed the additional traps and bait I was sitting outside and saw another 🐁. Needless to say it was struggling. Pretty sure it had been in the bait. I will admit part of me was sad about what was happening to them but as I looked around at all the places they could be living as opposed to my house I pushed it out of my head. My husband came and scooped the sickly mouse up and tossed it away from our house.This is a long review for me to say I recommend this product. And to say that a brand that's been in business for years must be doing something right. I haven't heard the sounds of mice anymore and I am hoping not to anymore. This is worth a shot.

These traps are great! The poison cube is fully encased with a space for a mouse or rat to get at the cube. They're easy to place almost anywhere and are pet safe as long as you don't have pet mice, pet rats or gerbils. There is no detectable odor and they aren't wet or sticky. The package comes with several refill cubes. They work! The mice in our garage have disappeared or been found dead.

Took about 1 week from the first evidence of a mouse nibbling bait until I found the evidence that it worked.

This works & is cheaper to use than paying “Insight Pest Solutions Service” $69 every month & on a surprise one year contract!!!!!!!!!!! I highly recommend this for those who are experiencing mouse or rat problems!!!!! Easy to use though you’ll need to purchase the dispenser to go with it to put this stuff in. Though each cube is sealed & hard to open. Be careful cutting it open, or the green cubes will literally fall apart. Be sure to wear disposable rubber gloves when handling this.

I bought a couple of black sticky pads, put those on the floor, “crushed” a piece of Butterfinger and put it in the middle of the sticky pad, “crushed” one of the Green bait and spread on top of the Butterfinger. Caught 2 mouse, 1 died instantly after eating my bait. The other got stuck on the sticky pad, so lil buddy didn’t get to eat my bait. But I caught 2 so that was a success!

this stuff absolutely did not work for me! idk if i have a bad batch or it simply just doesnt work but the mice walked right around it and wouldnt even touch it. I watched some youtube videos on this dcon stuff to see how i can possibly get it to work. I took away the bait station and i took out the individual blocks i used gloves so my scent wont be on them i took the plastic wrapping off of each block i seen ppl say u dont have to remove it that mice will chew right thru it but i still took it off i want them to have direct access to the poison. I also dont have any pets or small children who will be affected by the blocks. i used a disposable plastic knife to put a thin layer of peanut butter on about 10 of the blocks and i placed them in the corners of my kitchen and behind my stove which is where i mostly see activity. i have caught 4 mice so far using glue traps. these blocks do not work at all i eventually picked them up an threw them out. i do not like mice at all and i just moved into a nice place i love it here but this mice issue is upsetting me. The fact that they're in my kitchen and be on my counter and stove where i prepare and cook food is so gross. Im constantly cleaning 5 times a day.
