Good quality, a plant gel with a million uses! Here are somethings i found it works great for!
At first I wasn't sure how I felt about this aloe gel, because originally i got it to use as a facial moisturizer, but now I've used it for a few different things and here what I think. It is great quality, the consistency is about right for aloe gel (I am originally from the Caribbean so aloe was a staple in my life so I'm very familiar with it and it's uses) as far as a moisturizer, it goes on feeling very watery but absorbs quickly, if you have oily or normal skin it will be fine, if you have dry skin you will probably need to use another moisturizer. I've also used it after micro needling and it really helped sooth any discomfort (burning/stinging) right away, it also really reduced the redness very fast. I also used it after doing a professional laser hair removal treatment the other day where I got some Burns from sun exposure, it hurt so much, and the aloe REALLY REALLY helped! And lastly I've used it a few times as a lubricant (sorry if this is tmi!) But it is really great for this use, it's a natural astringent so it MAY help things contract a bit more, and you only need a little, and unlike a lot of other lubricants it keeps things wet without being too much to a point were you start lose some of the sensations of friction. Now dryness isn't something I have an issue with, so if you have feminine dryness I can't say how well this will work for you, because I'm not sure how long it last. But I know is very good for feminine health in that area because that's all women use for any and all issues down "there" especially after giving birth!I hope this is helpful! Great as a light, water-based moisturizer
I use this as a moisturizer during the day and sometimes at night to repair my severely dehydrated, acne-ridden, rosacea-prone skin, which I neglected for too long. I'm in my early 50s and started to break out in blemishes due to a new medication that I must have, but this brings peace and quiet to my angry, red, dry skin with weeping acne that is so sensitive, even lukewarm tap water stings it. I use this on my neck as well, and it feels so refreshing, so soothing for a welcome change.I also use this on my eyebrows, which had begun to thin, also due to the new medication and a boatload of stress. I can already see a difference there, and I've used this for only 3 weeks. It is a fine, watery-gel-like substance, and it keeps my pores open while allowing my skin to drink up the moisture. I love it, can't imagine not using it now.

Not exactly what I expected, but ... HIGHLY SATISFIED in spite of that.
My first preference for the Aloe Vera that I use on my face and arms would be a salve because it is not as "messy" as an oil. When I could not find a salve at a price I was willing to pay I went looking for a substitute. I chose the Green Leaf Naturals above the rest because it is organic and contains mostly Aloe Vera and almost no other ingredients ... it is basically Aloe Vera, period. No thickeners, no chemical preservatives, no extras. Described as a "gel" I was initially a bit disappointed when I saw how thin it is. NOT my idea of a gel! However, I was pleasantly surprised to see how easily it spread and how quickly it was absorbed, even on my hands from spreading it elsewhere. Not at all messy as I had feared. I use it every morning and evening and during the day when I am outside in the sun. I am very satisfied with how well it moisturizes and softens the dryness and cracking that I easily suffer due to sun and work exposure. I HIGHLY recommend Green Leaf Naturals Aloe Vera "Gel" and will be a continuing customer in the future.

Not great for damaged skin
5 stars because it's what I fully expected due to preservatives added to keep it fresh. Goes on smooth and clean and you only need a teeny bit. Not super liquidy like some have said, but slightly gel like. Squirts out in a glob rather than a liquid, as it should. With that said, this is fine for healthy-ish skin, but I would not purchase this for use on extreme skin issues. For dry or damaged skin you're better off to use the encapsulated gel, which is truly 100% aloe vera. As an example, I am recovering from severe poison ivy rash and the skin is very dry. This does not help it at all but the gel from the capsule is amazing.

Somewhat watery slower drip, some gel
Comparison of 3 real Aloe gels (excluding verified-by-consumerlabs.com zero-percent-actual-Aloe "Fruit of the Earth" brand which I like for reasons other than Aloe) regarding only how watery they are:-- completely watery fast drip, no gel: Aubrey Organics Pure Aloe Vera Gel-- somewhat watery slower drip, some gel: Green Leaf Naturals Aloe Vera Gel-- doesn't drip gel (but not thick gel like fake Aloe gels): Seven Mineral Aloe Vera GelYour choice.

Wonderful for troubled skin!!
I got this product because I saw a review on a sensitive skin blog and was pretty skeptical, but boy I am so glad I got it!! I have VERY sensitive skin that either burns or breaks out with horrible acne at just about anything I put on my face! I mean I tried EVERYTHING from Neutrogena sensitive skin moisturizer to a very expensive dermatologist brand and nothing worked without either making me get hives or clog my pores. Enter this stuff- it is a gooey liquid, not so much what I would call a Gel but I like it alot. It sits on top of the face for a minute, I was worried it wouldn't sink in but it did quickly. It is very cool and refreshing feeling, no burn at all! It actually really helped my oily/combo skin and I have not had nearly as much acne! My skin is actually hydrated in my dry zones and not overly oily in my oily zones. I've always had what I called dragon skin, where I have oily skin but it peels, crazy right? Well this and exfoliation has cured it! If you have sensitive skin and havent found a moisturizer that works for you, trust these reviews and get this gel!Side note: I tried another brand after this one and it's not even close to being as moisturizing and clean feeling, it left my face sticky. Stick to the natural one!!

I got this because I have read that aloe gel ...
I got this because I have read that aloe gel can help with stretch marks. I have been using it for a couple of months, and it has helped mine fade. I use it on my stretch marks and as a moisturizer. It also helped with my niece's eczema.
