I've kept a bullet journal since 2018 in different forms, sometimes going all in with decorating it & getting creative and sometimes focusing on function and utility. I've had two Leuchtturm 1917s, a Rhodia, a moleskine, and an unbranded note book from a pound shop, and after using a magenta Stationary Island notebook for most of 2023, I've just bought two more while they were on sale!I find this notebook has exactly what I need without frills and whistles - a sturdy cover that's lasted the year and still looks great, well-sewn pages that stand up to frequent use (where glued ones often come loose), a 5mm dot grid that makes setting layouts and measuring things out with a ruler really easy, and thick enough pages that the pens I use don't seep through (Micron art markers of various thicknesses, Tombow brush nibs, Staedler triplus, other standard pens), two bookmarks and a back pocket. I love the range of colours they have and I think these are well-designed notebooks.While you can find cheaper A5 dot grid notebooks, I have yet to find one cheaper that can compete with the pricier Leuchtturms and Rhodias as well as this one does. I can't see me ever going back!

If you are looking for an ideal bullet journal, please consider this product!I have previously used the Leuchtturm dot grid journal and whilst they seem to be the "go to" for the majority, I was becoming more and more frustrated with them because of the thin paper and, most importantly, the price.And whilst this notebook lacks the numbered pages and the index pages at the front, I've not found this to be an issue. I like the fact that each page can (and should) be personalised. I've not missed the page numbers at all, preferring to create my own markers for more referenced pages - much easier!The paper is nice and definitely better than the Leuchtturm, it's all down to the thickness, or weight which is 120gsm. Takes my pens very well and, I've yet to try any watercolors on the paper though, but I don't think that that would be too much trouble. The colour is a pleasant off white colour and the dots don't appear to be too dark, so not too obtrusive and prominent either.And the price? Makes you wonder how they could produce a product that is superior in use to anything else on the market at this price point. If I can live without the page numbers and index pages at the front, then I will for this price.The cover is very tactile and sturdy with 2 colour bookmarks of complimentary colours to that of the cover, of which there are many. You're bound to find a colour that suits you and your purpose.Arrived promptly and I could track the progress down to the actual time that it would arrive too.Overall, I'm initially very impressed with this journal and would be considering future purchases from this company.

I've used a handful of notebooks for bullet journalling and these are definitely my current favourites.The paper is wonderfully smooth to write on and thick enough that nothing shows through.I like the choice of colours. I'll be buying different colours through the range.The 2 page markers are great, although there are times when I wish I had a third.The only things I can think of that would improve them is a 'pen loop' and an option to have a larger spaced grid - However, since I discovered you can buy stick on pen loops quite cheaply, I've done that and the colours matched quite well. As for the grid, my writing isn't very compact and a 7mm grid would suit me more than a 5mm - however, despite reading some reviews that one well known, and expensive, brand did a 7mm grid, I've yet to actually find any for sale. Until I do - I'm sticking with these.I prefer the 'dot grid' format, but a fellow journaler I know prefers a ruled page and was a little disappointed after I recommended these that there seems to be less choice in cover colour for the ruled versions.

I've been using Stationery Island's bujos for a little while now and I definitely will recommend them. Nice and sturdy, strong cover, lovely colours, great binding, with just the perfect GSM and smooth ivory paper. 120GSM can easily take Mildliners, Supertips, most archival ink pens (Copic multiliners, Fudenosuke pens), etc. Just the right weight for dutch doors, too. I would be careful with alcohol markers and paint of any kind though, you probably want 160GSM for that. Only complaints are that the pages aren't numbered (but you can easily solve this yourself) and the grid spacing is a bit of an odd dimension (26 across, 40 down) but you can make it work.

Gorgeous colour. Good quality paper. I love it. Use it as a bullet journal. Good value too.

I absolutely love this journal! The thickness of the paper means no bleed through and it just looks amazing. Such a beautiful product and my new go to shop for a journal!

I bought this book during lockdown (just to say how long I've had it) and it's still going strong. I thought I might use it for bullet journaling but quickly discovered that "trend" wasn't for me! I subsequently started using it to write down recipes (from websites and cooking with friends at home) and to keep notes (ex. measurements for curtains, plans for the veg garden... that sort of stuff). I have to say, it just looks so tidy and inviting on the sofa that I am happy to pick it up to write something down or to go back and look at a recipe.It's a notebook with great, quality paper (I use a fountain pen and, sometimes, highlighters) that's just so pleasant to write on. It has a nice, solid feel and it has TWO place-marker ribbons and a little pocket in the back cover for slipping in little odds and ends like stamps or a note. The book is just great. I love it. And it feels very warm to the touch, too.If you're a tactile person like me, you will LOVE this book!

This journal has been great, I found that the pages are extremely high quality, when doing any colouring there is some show on the other side of the page. However no extreme ink runs through.Will be using this company again and again!

I got this journal to help me keep track of all things life. I really like it, the journal is super easy to organize. There are also no lines so it looks super clean and neat, it also gives you a lot of creative freedom because of that. The journal is also made out of a thick and durable material, so it won’t get messed up super easily. It also isn’t bulky, so it will be super easy to slip into your bag or carry. Super excited to get to use this journal more!

Great assembly and quality of paper. The only con is the cover the material collects greasy marks.Otherwise great notebook.

Bardzo miła w dotyku okładka. Papier jest dobrej jakości, jest bardzo gładki i ma ładny kolor, nie jest zupełnie biały. Bardzo dobrze wykonana koperta z tyłu notatnika. Rozkłada się na płasko po lekkim dociśnięciu kartek. Bardzo mi odpowiada, a używałam bardzo wielu notatników innych firm.
