Be careful! The AV cable can break your Sylvania DVD player!
Apparently this was not the right AV cord for my particular model of Sylvania dual screen DVD player. The plug was too long. I didn't know that when I put it in the AV jack. For some dumb reason, the circuit board engineers decided to place the sensor switch that decides if the lid is open/closed directly behind the AV jack. So when I plugged this cord in, it pushed through the back of the jack and snapped off the little sensor. Now my DVD player is junk because it thinks it is always "open" and won't play anything. Sad!!

Stopped working after 3 uses
This stopped working about 1 month after receiving it. It was only used 3 times in that month.
