Impressive On-the-Go Espresso!
The media could not be loaded. Convenient travel espresso machine without electricity and all you need is coffee grounds of ANY type, and water. The construction is SOLID. I'm a big guy so stuff tends to break easily with my hands...not this portable espresso machine. It holds just about 1 K cup or like small coffee pod, has an easy to read water fill line and once you figure out how to pop-up the pumper it is super simple to use. I made a video on how to work it from opening the box to ready to drink in less than 5 minutes!Clean up was stupid simple, NO soap needed but if you want to sanitize I would recommend thoroughly rinsing so you don't have any soapy residue in your coffee. I made enough for me to add to a coffee cup, added some ice cubes, and chocolate milk...it was honestly better than I expected. NO grounds in the coffee and the flavor was as robust as the coffee said it should be. I honestly would NEVER buy a coffee machine like this before but now I have tested it out I cannot believe these weren't invented sooner, and more widely available. This is a MUST for ALL coffee drinking campers, vacationers, office workers who travel, loggers or even athletes on the go who want "their" coffee wherever they go! Don't trust motel coffee makers, bring your own and enjoy you own cup of Joe any way you want it on the go!

This works! Highly recommend
I’m super pleased with this travel espresso maker. We’ve used it for many trips now and consider it a tried and true way to make our Nespresso pods on the go. Just pop your Nespresso pod in, heat water in a kettle, pour it into the reservoir, and pump. Heads up: it’s a non-electronic device, so it does require a little arm strength as pressure builds up when you’re manually pumping out espresso. It comes with a nice quality carrying case that protects everything in transit. The hot water fills into a stainless steel compartment, limiting exposure of the hot water to plastic (it only passes through plastic briefly while dispensing). This travel brewer has also come to the rescue when our electric one failed. I’m definitely happy I bought this thing!

It's a bit less stable when pumping
Than the classic, but It's perfect for vacations. I just need to pay for milk wherever I end up or bring it in a separate bottle, along with sugar if camping. BEWARE: If you have the classic or have purchased the upgrade to the new bottom filter and nespresso pod attachment, TSA may make you check it instead of putting it in your carryon due to the sharp edges. Just beware, depends on the airport and the TSA agent. And this took me 30 minutes of discussion (AFTER I willingly checked the entire kit not just the nespresso pod adapter).

If you like leaking water all over your travel bag, this is the product for you!
The concept is wonderful, but the actual product leaks water because there's no gasket between the screw on water reservoir and the coffee maker element. When you prep water in the reservoir for your travels, be ready for the entire amount of water to leak all over your bag. Then when you want coffee, try to find hot water to fill up the tank again. Haha. It's a brilliant idea, and decent coffee maker but the actual basics of keeping the water in the device until you want to make a coffee consistently fails... every... single... time. Therefore the product fails. I give it Zero stars and I really wanted to like it. Wish I could return the piece of crap. It was expensive. BTW I've also asked the manufacturer to help and they asked me to send a video to prove it was broken. although annoyed, I'm not shocked. I'm guessing they've got lots of these crappy units in a bin in the office wondering what to do with them next.

Perfect for camping.
This thing is just what I need for camping trips. Since it can use finely ground coffee OR Nespresso Original espresso pods, it provides versitility that one may want during a light pack camp out--so if by chance you can score ten packs of Nespresso capsules on the cheap, you're having a gourmet experience. At first, the setup seemed just a little tricky, but that was all cancelled out after 2 tries with it. It does not take a lot of work to pump the water from the spring-loaded plunger--it takes more effort to saw sticks for starting a fire. And the results come out great each time I have used it. Since it's stainless steel and silicone, it just needs a rinse in warm water and a wipe down with a towel, and it's ready to store.I've tried making a shot of espresso with both hot and cold water; both ways, it came out great. It makes quality espresso much like an aero press, while also being easier to set up and offering the option for compact clean espresso pods. Again: if you're doing some solo camping, this device is what you're looking for.

Honestly, it's just too much work
It's an okay product - it does what it advertises, but honestly, it's a lot of work to get one little cup of coffee! I took it on an international trip with me to a country that doesn't recognize decaf coffee as a legitimate beverage, and used it just once. After heating up the water and trying to balance all my items next to the bathroom sink without making a mess, and then the cleanup - I just decided, forget it. Not worth the bother. The whole point of Nespresso is convenience. This is not convenient. This is a product for those desperate for a caffeine fix. I personally think that a "gourmet" instant espresso is a more convenient choice for traveling.
