Have one in the freezer and one in the refrigerator. Values match the values give by the refrigerator. But this item is quicker to read then messing with the control panel on the frig and see them each time the door(s) are opened.

After over a week, and compared to calibrated digital gauges against a Fluke 87V as thermometer, and an Elitech temp logger, these simple low cost gauges are most accurate in the center of the scale, and less towards the ends [ freezer and ]. There is a wide range of allowable temps, per the FDA, in the freezer [ 0 and below F] and narrow in the fridge [ 32-38F] so its accuracy is more than acceptable.ConIt would be idea if these had screw adjustments to adjust calibration pointer as they age, as it could drift over time

Assuming the thermometers are accurate when I received them, it showed how inaccurate my refrigerator and freezer were from what the temperature is set at. It came as a pack of two and that was great because I needed one for both the fridge and freezer. I waited a day to ensure that the thermometers were accurate; I didn't want to judge them too soon.

These thermometers are great - they are consistently precise. We have one in the oven, another in the fridge, and a third one in our chest freezer.. Knowing that our thermometers are accurate and reliable brings peace of mind.

I placed one toward the top and one toward the bottom. It helped to know that our fridge was working as it is supposed to.
