Having read different reviews of these specific pills from Amazon I became very scared they weren’t what they were advertised as. I cracked one open and it tasted meaty and slightly salty so definitely not rice flour, I’m no scientist so couldn’t be sure they’re beef liver.Having said all of that, they made me feel energised and focused after a week of taking them, again, this may be from reading the positive reviews and expecting such results, but I guess in the end does it matter? I’ve bought the once from ancestral health to compare thoughUPDATE:- just received my ancestral supplement beef liver and they definitely do not smell the same. Don’t know what’s in the codeage ones but it’s not beef liver as far as I can smell!! The photo shows how brown they should be. I’ll feed back in a month once I’ve finished the real deal

Always a good start to any supplement, I like to see that there are minimum additives and bulkers. This can only be achieved through a good manufacturing process and focus on a high-quality product.Like many people, eating large amounts of liver can be difficult, especially as it takes a while to prepare properly. The Codeage beef liver supplement seems to tick all the boxes for a high quality supplement version of all the good bits we need. Grass fed cattle, hormone free no GMOs and no extra additives required. The capsules are easy to take and can even be added to hot soups, stews or cooked vegetables and stirred in before serving. The capsules will dissolve and add a nice flavour to savoury foods.I have found a definite increase in energy (due to the iron content) while taking this supplement and therefore can recommend anyone who feels that their iron levels are low. Bovine supplements also contain a good range of vitamins essential for immune system boost and a healthy defence against illness and disease. Right now, we need all the help we can get to stay fit and healthy.As others have commented, the price is high, but what we should really question, is why other supplements like this are so cheap? Quality is not cheap and I'm happy to go for something I trust, rather something that costs less.

I gave this product to my wife who requires iron on a daily basis. To cut a long story short, she is raving about this product. It took about 5daysof use to feel any benefit. Once it is in the system, her energy increased and her iron levels also shoed a positive increase. This is having a far better effect than the Fumate the doctor gave her. It is certainly showing better tolerance and absorbability than Iron. Overall this is a great product that works very well and I am happy to recommend it.

I have never tried grass fed beef liver supplements before so I was curious how it is going to work for me. I am surprised because I can really feel a difference. The supplements from codeage are high quality and I hhave used this brand before. It's a premium supplement for a premium price which is a little bit too expensive for me so that is the reason why I gave four stars. I wished it would be more affordable. Bact to results - I felt more energised after taking this supplement and did not have days when I woke up already tired. I can honestly recommend it!

I was recently reading a book about superfoods and it turns out that beef liver is more nutrient dense than almost any other food. I've always enjoyed liver but my family don't share my love of it consequently I don't get the top up of nutrients that I would like.I have previously purchased dessicated beef liver and it suited my very well. I found it a great way to get the benefits without having to serve it up at home too often. This product is just the same. It's super high quality grass fed beef liver. The ingredients couldn't be simpler. Beef liver and gelatin capsule.The dosage for these is 3 to 6 capsules a day and you receive 180. That makes it a pretty expensive capsule and just short of £34 for a bottle at time of writing. It is much cheaper just to buy the beef liver at the butcher if you enjoy eating liver but if you want the benefits but are not a fan of the flavour then this is a great way to pack in all the advantages.Nice clean product. No unwanted or unnecessary extras though a bit pricey. I've not deducted a star for that since this in my experience is about the going rate for a good grassfed beef liver supplement.

I received this item through the Amazon Vine programme. These beef liver capsules are standard sized and well made, there were no broken capsules in the jar I received, and there is no aftertaste to them when taken.The recommended dose is either 3 or 6 capsules daily, so how long the jar will last is variable, but at £33.99 it's quite an expensive supplement, and one I have not tried before: however there have been quite a few articles in the press about the health benefits of beef liver along with having a beneficial effects on the immune system so it's worth giving the product a try. It's too early to say if there has been benefit in my case, but I will update this review if anything noticeable occurs.It's nice to see the tablets contain absolutely no additives of any kind.Comparing the cost of these capsules with others on the Amazon site, although an expensive outlay they do compare well with similar items: I guess this is just a pricey thing to be buying, and in that context they seem to offer value for money, particularly if they prove to be beneficial.

The first time I bought this product I was pleasantly surprised that they had no taste or smell, as I was previously plant-based and started taking them for health necessity. However the most recent pack is definitely different. The product is much darker, it absolutely stinks and left a horrible aftertaste for a while after. I haven’t had any more as they taste like there’s something wrong with them and I don’t want to risk getting ill.
