My husband golfs with my elderly dad. He bought these as a joke to my dad and they both had a good laugh. They did what they were supposed to do.

Ive tried these teo tomes now with the same results. No sound.. you have to hit exactly on the red dot for them to work.

I pulled one of these out of my bag when I golfed with my dad this past Father's Day and it worked perfectly. The cloud of smoke when he made contact was big and the shock of him hitting it was hilarious, definitely a great memory for Father's Day. There are a couple of things I did notice about these that may tip off the person you flip the ball to in hopes of having a laugh. These are noticeably lighter than actual golf balls so if someone catches it and actually picks up on it then the joke won't work, also there's a grove where the two halves of the golf ball meet so the off chance the person notices that could tip them off as well. Or if they're nosy like me and look for the name of the brand of ball they're using, they'll notice a name they've never seen before. All in all, a good gag gift for group trips to the course with friends.

Buy these every year for a tournament I host. Tell them “this one is for distance” on the longest drive or impress them with how hard you can hit. So hard it explodes.

I was hoping for an audible bang when hitting these or at least where it would make someone jump. It did not do that. Exploding in my mind goes bang. Maybe going bang would make these dangerous at that point but none-the-less, be advised, these do not go bang/boom. I have only hit one so far but it was a let down. I bought 3 sleeves...so, only 8 more to go. Yeah.

I recently purchased the exploding golf ball, expecting a fun and surprising addition to our golf game. Unfortunately, this product was a major disappointment. The ball only emitted smoke and made no sound, ruining the intended prank. The lack of any audible effect made the explosion barely noticeable, leaving everyone confused and underwhelmed.I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a true exploding golf ball experience. Save your money and look for a different option that actually delivers on its promises.

So you get them what is meant to destroy itself and become nothing. I got these for my grandfather who's 80+ and loves to golf. Everytime I talk with him on Sunday it's always short consisting of the weather, how he did on golf, and not much else. You ask him what he wants and days he dosent want anything, needless to say when he got these, he was very happy and thought they were brilliant and well though out.I don't know when he'll use them as I live very far from him and traveled for his birthday, but I'm certian he'll use them on his golf buddies.

I live on a golf course...love throwing them in the rough....lol!!
