I think they do a fabulous job at exfoliating but, unlike harsher products, they don't smell like acids or strong alcohols. You may be apprehensive at first about its efficacy but I really think it has even better results than other pads. I love this product and think everyone should try it for any type of skin concern. Also works great as a little pad mask. I like to leave it on troubled areas for 5 mins. You should definitely wash your face well before using--I am *not* using these to remove makeup, only to tone my face after cleansing. You won't be disappointed!
