The minute I took it out of the box and put it on the floor my cat hopped into it and used it as a scratching pad and then a bed. I don’t know what’s going on with this thing. Is it embedded with catnip? Either way it’s a popular item and I highly recommend it. It’s very attractive looking and seems well-made.

As soon as I opened the box my cat jumped right in. It’s her place to sleep. She loves to scratch on the inside. She has grown since I bought it but she makes herself comfy in it. It’s very sturdy and does not slide on the hardwood floor. Great buy.

Ordered this for 2 new Siamese kittens. 😸 It was shipped in a bag and came quite smashed. Amazon promptly sent a replacement, in a box, and the kittens have been enjoying it ever since! 😻😸😻😸😻

My cat loves to look at this, and thin about sitting in it, but it ain't yet (in almost a month) and it has NEVER scratched it. So, yeah, it's durable...for now. I like the look. The wood exterior makes it blend in more with th floors and furniture, but it is clearly cheap material (wasn't expecting much more, I guess), but the thing with these cat "toys" is that they are always hit or miss--not the fault of the product; just a consequence of the cat's personality. Would I buy one again? Probably not. It was meant to deter the cat from scratching other things in the house, and that it has not done. But if he one day decides this is the greatest thing next to a leather sofa, I will revise the review.

Immediate response from the catkids. There is a line to be the next to use this. A few skirmishes for who gets it first every morning. Seems to be fairly sturdy so far. Time will tell if value for price. Catkids love it, that is what matters.

My cats like the length of this scratcher and have fun on it.

Very aesthetically pleasing, matches my decor. Love how the scratching part is rope rather than cardboard, so no mess. Keep in mind it’s good for a small cat, mine is 7-8 LB and it’s perfect size but a 10lb+ cat might be spilling off the edges.

This cat scratcher is the perfect size for my big male cat who has claimed it as his very own bed. The inner bowl has firm carboard that takes quite a beating and it is still holding together well. The outer trim looks great next to the living room future 👌 I will most definitely buy more in the near future.

Its cute! I bought it so that my cats can scratch it but they prefer to sit in it. Oh well!
