Fairly good.
Product is sturdy, fairly durable. However, it would have been nice if they had titles (even nonsensical ones) on the spines.Perfect for keeping small things amongst my bookshelves or sitting decoratively on my desk.

Hiding in plain sight
These book safes are beyond cool. I have them in my bookcase and someone attempted to rob my home office. They didn't even touch my book safes! I kept my little black book user names, passwords and personal effects in one and cash extras of key and other personal items another They're worth their weight in gold.

Arrived in perfect condition.
I was hesitant to order these because some reviews mentioned quality issues. I have to say that mine are beautiful. The small size made them perfect for a narrow shelf on a console table I have. I got them to cover up a wall outlet but the boxes will be nice to place small items in too. If you’re on the fence, I say go for it.

Faker than fake
I was a bit disappointed. The artwork or stenciling was okay, but there were paint runs, and smears where someone went beyond the lines, and painted the "book" inside cover same as the "pages". (See photos). The very first thing I saw, however, was the crack in the back of the bigger set, with the paint run. This was my first impression. The cardboard box it came in looked tattered. Because it is so light, it must have been tossed around during delivery quite a bit. There was no stuffing in the box to protect the items. If the cardboard shipping box was dented, so was this item. They look like obvious fake books. Having titles or even volume numbers on some of the 'books' would have made them appear more authentic looking. Overall, they will serve the purpose of a box to 'hide' things from plain view. And, I guess I got what I paid for.
