I've bought several of these in the past, most recently at the beginning of October 2016 (this review written Oct 26, 2016). Each one of these has ended up failing on me. I even had one come straight out of the box that was DOA. Not buying these anymore.

I bought this as a charger that I can use when I am away from home, specifically at work, but I have also used it in other settings. When used with a USB-C cable I get the rapid charging rate on my phone, which I love. The one detractor is the height of the adapter is a bit long, and bulky, but I would rather deal with that than have a charger that does not achieve the rapid charging rate.

This product worked for a short while, and then stopped working. By the time it stopped working it was too late to try and return it. This is the second time I've had this experience with a third party charger. From now on I'll just stick with the chargers directly from Google.

After I purchased the black charger with cable for $15 (instead of the white charger w/o cable for $10), it arrived with no cable. I went to check the description, and it now specified that there is no cable included (although one is shown in the thumbnail). And the white version has increased to $14. Kind of slippery, but I still need the charger, so it looks like I'm keeping it and going elsewhere to buy a cable.

I needed a second charger for my Nexus 5X that would rapidly charge the phone. This charger is great. Charges almost as fast as the charger that came with the phone, and I can CONFIRM that this does rapidly charge my Nexus 5X. The charger does not get too warm while in use. I have been using this charger for 3 months with no issues whatsoever. Very satisfied with this purchase.

So, I got this to replace the original charger I had with my nexus 6p, as that one died only a few days after use.Go figure, this one dies only a few days after use as well. Everyone else is right, it's exactly the same and dies exactly the same as well. I'm not happy with this purchase.

Works great for my Nexus 6p. This charger seems to work exactly the same as the charger than shipped with my phone (same charging rapidly display and seems to take about as long to charge as with the stock charger).

I've had it for almost a year now, and it's still going strong! Just as fast as the factory charger, and looks about identical as well. Does it's job well, and charges quick and hassle free. I would recommend it.
