Leaves behind your mascara—and an OIL SLICK Like Crisco
These pads did NOTHING for my waterproof mascara. Not a smudge.CRYING or basic makeup wipe could’ve done better. For something marketed as eye makeup remover, that’s a pretty big fail.To make matters worse, they leave your eyelids feeling like you slathered them in Crisco. Greasier than any wipe I’ve tried, and not in a nourishing way—just straight-up pore-clogging. I wouldn’t be shocked if they caused those little sebum pearls.Pads are flimsy and paper-thin.Nice scent, sure, but that’s the only point in their favor.I’m returning and switching to micellar pads. Do not recommend.

Works for hard to remove glue and magnetic liner!
These wipes have saved me so many times! I go between Glamnetic and Luxilla magnetic liner/lashes, as well as the Kiss Lash Glue Liner & lashes - and this is the only product that will actually remove all of the gunk and stickiness. Yes, I use two (one for each eye) and it takes about a minute or two each eye, but they are absolutely spotless after. It does feel a little oily/greasy after removal, so I just use my regular face wipe or face cleanser and go over the area to remove that feeling, I have sensitive skin (prone to redness and irritability), and *knock on wood*, I haven't had any issue with these.

They work!
I LOVE this product! They take the eye makeup off and don’t dry the skin around my eyes. So convenient!

Abrasive pad and harsh chemicals
I’m surprised anyone likes these to be honest. The pad itself is extremely abrasive and slightly stiff, as well. It felt as though I was taking a layer of skin off, and not just my makeup. As soon as I began to swipe, I felt pain from the contact. The makeup remover the pads are soaked in reminded me of how gasoline behaves. Smelly, burns and irritates skin. And somehow it leaves residue that irritates the eyes. Combined with the rough pad, the area around my eyes felt irritated, swollen and greasy. I had to splash cold water on my face to soothe the irritation. I highly recommend trying something else to remove your eye makeup.

Overall a good product
While I like those a lot and keep buying them occasionally the fluid make my eyes tear after use despite using a tissue to dry my eyes after use.

Small and rather greasy but do the job!
When I first received the Almay eye makeup remover pads, I was surprised by how small the container was. The lid screws on nice and tightly though so this small container would be good for traveling without fear of it leaking. There are 80 almost paper thin pads and they are quite small at about 2 inches wide. The biggest thing I noticed is how greasy/oily they are! I use one pad per eye to remove eyeliner and water-resistant mascara and while they definitely remove makeup, at 57 years old I don't find them particularly gentle but actually a little rough on the delicate skin around my eye (not soft like a cotton wool pad) - I have to be very careful when I use them just to wipe/dab gently so that they do not pull or tug across my eye. The price is good but overall I find them quite wet and greasy on both my fingers and around my eyes and probably will not repurchase them when this container of 80 runs out.

Easy and effective
I love these things! I wear a lot of black eyeliner and black mascara, as well as eyeshadow primer. It smears all over my face if I start with a wet-wipe. I use these pads for removing eye make-up specifically. I usually need only one pad per eye, two max (one for liner, one for mascara). They leave a somewhat greasy film on your skin, but that's part of why they're so effective, the eyeliner just slides right off, and mascara is easily freed from the lash. I then use a face-wipe to clean any remaining oil (and now easy-to-remove eye make-up) off of my face. These are cheap, effective, and a now-integral part of my skincare routine.

sensitive skin approved!
i accidentally bought waterproof mascara and this is the only thing i’ve found that will gently take it off! i have sensitive skin especially on my eyes so im sure other things work but this works well for my sensitive skin! it’s super compact and easy to take with me and im very happy with how saturated each wipe is
