The magnetic catches work well to keep the frame closed and the film strip in placeThe 3 star rating is for the following reason:The "pips" that engage with the film sprocket holes are not quite aligned properly with the film strip I tried, however, as these films were originally wound into the camera by hand, I suspect that depending on how much they were wound before shooting commenced may determine how well they line up with the pips and therefore the windows in the negative carrierShaving the pips flush to the frame with a craft knife should allow the film position to be adjusted to match the frame windows, so the frame will do the job it was intended forI have not tried the slide frame as the item was purchased for the film frame and I have adifferent method for capturing these

Awful, I've ordered 35 mm film slide holders and I've got a DVD instead of what was in the photo advertised.

Purchased these as spares for a slide copier I bought at the same time. Have not used them yet but have used the originals and was very pleased with the product
