1-2cm 100% Natural Lava Rocks For Fire Pit, Aquarium, Chiminea, Aquascaping, Horticulture (20KG) Red/Brown

Firstly this is not black lava rock the brand name has black in it, for those reviews advising not as listed, the product is as listed.Pretty large bag for the price and for my use in external canister filter on aquarium I can’t complain. Rinsed easy enough and nice size pieces

Just the job

I searched for black lava rock and the title read: black rock grill 1-3cm lava rock so I had taken that to mean it was black lava rock! When I opened the bag and discovered ref rocks, I checked the listing and realised this was the brand / seller name 🙄 I contacted to alert the seller in the hope of an apology and the listing being amended! There was no other mention of colour in the listing! I advised it should be in the title and in the description that it’s red. The product is extremely dusty so takes a huge amount of washing to be usable in a tank (personally I feel this should be stated too as other rock doesn’t come like this). The seller was informed that I had opened the bag and tried washing the product. He didn’t apologise for the misleading title or agree to amend the listing title or description, and his only offer to resolve was to return the item unused in original packaging (but no Time Machine was offered). I have used some in plant pots instead of gravel but given that I can get gravel for free this is a total waste of £25 :(

Red Lava Rocks , very dusty, lots of like send pieces. Hard to wash to clean stage , as need lots of running water to remove endless, like send pieces .

Excellent communication from seller, using for aquarium substrate really pleased with product and the bag was bigger than I expected will definitely use again

Should have read the description better! This is good quality lava rock but is entirely the wrong grade for my purpose! It is 3 to 5 CM grade, I read it as 3 to 5 mm grade so I am spending hours crushing the stuff with a 10oz hammer to use in my Bonsai mix!Delivery was quick and packaging was excellent! Would I buy it again? NO! Should I have read the description more closely? YES!
