My granddaughter loved this. After being shown the steps to make it she could do it almost completely on her own. Putting the wire through one of the small holes and adding wings was difficult for her. She is a child with lots of experience with crafts. If your child doesn’t have patience or great fine motor he/she will need more help. Great value and no glue or cutting required!

My grandchildren, girls 4 and 6, enjoyed crafting these cute insects! After working with them on the first one, the 6 year old was able to do most of it on her own. The 4 year old needed help but still liked the activity. The one with the hair was tricky and the most difficult. It's important to turn the wire ends and clamp them down when finished to ensure the sharp points won't be an issue.

This little felt craft insect set is absolutely adorable. The quality is very good and the instructions are real easy to follow. Our 4 year old daughter did string all the parts and I just had to help a little with some knots and the antennas. It was lots of fun to assemble. On top of it, our daughter likes to play with her insect friends and they would also look very cute just sitting by some plants.The reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that fact that the wire cover that holds the parts together and makes the antennas is made of paper which means it can come undone while stringing the parts onto it. We fixed that issue by bending the ends of the wire a little bit before stringing the parts on which prevented the paper from coming off.

The tissue paper that is wrapped around the wire used to assemble all the pieces comes apart very easily. This leaves your antennae messy looking. You can cut it shorter but either way it will continue to unravel as they are being played with. If it was glued to the wire it would be a much better product. All in all they are adorable and the kids loved making them as well as playing with them.

Got this kit for my 4 year old granddaughter. She absolutely loved it. Very age appropriate & each bug comes in it’s own labeled wrapper, so it would be perfect for a play date. I bought all the other kits they had. So fun!

Loved that this builds independence. First insect took quite a lot of guidance but subsequently the child was able to complete the crafts with very little help. Lots of fun!
