Perfect to pair with a catch basin
If you look at the slightly larger “square” style, you’ll see there are not more openings than this has so the flow is going to be the same. This one works great.

Replacement
Replace one that got sucked into my mower. it does the thing.

Worked as a replacement
Ordered this as a replacement for one that got sucked up in a lawn mower. Working great as long as the lawn mower does not go over. Part needs to be a bit heavier or have expanders on sides to keep from being sucked up in mower.

It did not fit my drain as well as i would have liked.

Very sturdy an strong - will last forever (unless you run it over with the lawn mower like I did). Like it so much I bought it twice.
