Dogtra1" Stainless Surgical Steel Contact Point Set of 2

I wish I would have purchased these initially with our dogtra collar.Prior to this product my long hair male german shepherd seemed to only respond to higher stimulation levels. With these prongs I can reduce the stimulation to around a 4-5 out of 127 as opposed to starting with 10-15 and going up from there.The dogs have not shown any additional signs of discomfort.

When using the regular dogtra ends for the shock collar on my husky there was not always a good connection. I was advised by a friend to get the longer ones such as these. After buying these it was just what we needed. They look aggressive when you open them up since they are so long. I wouldn’t advise leaving one of these collars on for an extended period of time with the depth of these tips.

I gave 4 stars only cause the are way too long for my German Shepard. To get the collar tight enough they dug way way deep in his neck. But if you know for certain that you dog needs longer they seem to be good.

Without these I would not be able to use my Dogtra on my Huskies as their fur is way too thick. I have 2 Huskies and 1 Husky/German Shepherd so I have bought 3 sets and have had no issues!

We have a German Shephard and especially in the winter when his coat is a bit heavier, this gets through. I was a little hesitant when I first looked at them in person. Put the collar back on with the longer contacts and he is still comfortable with the longer probe.
