The umbrella definitely will not stand up without falling over unless you have a weight on the bottom. The weight suggested to buy with it was not enough. I had to put 4 bricks and a 50 lb sandbag on top as well. Wjat an eyesore! In addition, the rotating swivel aspect has no way to secure the umbrella from blowing from side to side and not stay in one spot. The screw in dial they give you to secure it is a joke. The lightest wind makes it spin in all directions. There is also no way to secure the umbrella open. The winder that you open it with slowly unwinds and the umbrella closes. It is very awkward in weight distribution, I destroyed my back putting it together and trying to get it to stay open and sit still. I would return it, but I physically can't get it apart and I threw away the box. What a waste. It is sitting on my patio closed serving no purpose at!

great deal for a great product !easy to assemble , easy to use this fits perfect over our outside couch and 2 chairs perfectly! (you do have to buy weight for base separately )

Michigan , Summer is finally here ! I bought umbrella in April was hoping it will last at least for one season . To be honest with you , unfortunately it broke on fifth time we open it ! The rope inside of umbrella Ripped so there is no use for it anymore .

Easy to put together. Provides huge area of shade. It's sturdy and the price was fair.

Worst purchase do not buy. The rope crank system does not work. The rope breaks after a few days of having the umbrella open in perfect no wind weather. Waste of money and now I am left with having to get rid of now 4 umbrellas that never lasted a week. They sent 2 more when the 1st two I bought had the exact same problem with the rope and the next 2 exact same problem after a few days. This is a joke. I have requested my money back and haven't heard back.

The umbrella faded within a few weeks, does not extend fully, does not swing freely, and often tips over. You need some very heavy sand bags to hold this down, not as pictured here.

This is a huge umbrella, who works very good in protecting from sun. I add some holders that we filled with sand. So far very happy with it !

It works fine and looks great. I just wish you guys send some dirt pins to hold the umbrella down. At least as a temporary measure till we get the sand bags.
