Excellent mortor and pestile set. Perfect size. The inside is rough to grind easily. Very heavy so it stays when using it. I wish I had this sooner!

Super big and heavy!
This is much heavier and larger than I thought. It's good quality, sturdy and works well. But it is a bit hard to use do to the size and weight. Texture is smooth, but this is more for larger ingredients.

Great helper for grinding
I got this set of mortar and pestle after reading othersâ reviews. This is indeed useful to have. I used them for grinding chili peppers. I used them for grinding pine nuts and basil leaves for making pesto. It is a little too small for processing a big batch but works fine for grinding spices. It is sturdy. There is a liner on the bottom of the mortar so that it gets good traction. I like the gray black marble pattern of mortar and pestle. There is a coating on the external side of mortar so it is scratch resistant.
