Good snack option for volume eaters, though need to be alert on sodium intake
I’ve always been a huge fan of popcorn as a light and satisfying snack, but I'm too lazy to pop kernels on the stove manually, and most microwave-able options from other brands are quite dense in calories, even the non-buttery versions. I discovered Orville's Smartpops when I was looking for a middle ground, and seeing its competitive price point (12 bags for $4.88), I decided to give it a try. The butter flavor is surprisingly rich for a popcorn that's supposed to be “light” and a tad bit healthier. You still get that classic buttery taste, sans the excess calories, (only 240 calories per bag!) or fat found in other microwave popcorn. However, as "no free lunch theorem" would propose, while it scores high for succeeding to become a delicious yet low-calorie snack, I did find the ingredient list to be quite concerning. I was surprised to see some extras such as palm oil, color added (annatto), and mixed tocopherols being written on the ingredients list; when I was expecting something much more compact. I understand that some preservatives are necessary to keep such products shelf-stable, but it feels like an option that's marketed as a healthy-alternative could be kept a little cleaner. Another thing worth noting is the sodium level. At around 340mg per serving, it’s not outrageously high compared to some other snack options, but if you’re eating it frequently at high volumes, that sodium can reeaally add up. So don't be tricked by the low calories, portion control is still needed! It’s worth keeping an eye on if you’re sensitive to salt or trying to manage your sodium intake. Overall, smartpop's a good choice for anyone looking for a tasty, low-calorie snack option. However, its not the healthiest option on the market, and be mindful of the bloated ingredient list and the sodium content if you plan to eat this frequently. I’ll definitely keep enjoying this in moderation, but I do wish it was a little more natural and lower in sodium.

Love this popcorn but why the huge price increase?
I eat way too much of this popcorn but it is perfect when you get the munchies. Price has doubled in recent weeks which is disappointing.
