Yinama Alto Saxophone Reeds for Alto Sax Strength 2.5; Box of 10

I think my saxophone is just out of tune because it sounds weird. My C doesn't sound like a normal C. But all the other notes sound good. I really enjoyed jumping back into the alto sax. It was cool.

In all of my years of playing have I ever found a reed cut so crooked. I got them to start my son out on a cheaper 2.0 reeds to see if the strengths would work for him. His difficulty was baffling me until I tried it myself. Not only was it hard to produce a vibration, there was also a limit to how much vibration the reed would take before it froze up. In other words you had to blow hard, but not too hard, or you would get no sound. Keep in mind that I am an experienced player using rico royal and van doren reeds on multiple mouthpieces ranging from a yamaha 4c, otto link 6*, and all the way through a peter ponzol metal 110. These reeds are absolute trash, and I wouldn't let a beginner suffer through them.

My son loved these abetter than the more expensive ones. He stated they last longer and are very good quality!

Son seems to like these better than other reeds . Stronger and lasts longer
