Hands down the best watering can overall
This is the perfect example of American engineering at its best applied to such a humble product as a watering can. What can go wrong with a watering can? A lot. The balance can be bad, the shape impractical to fill up and pour from, the spout non-removable with irregular holes and clogged within weeks, and the material unpleasant to the touch. And the can can be so high that one has to carry it with a lifted arm lest she/he drags it on the ground. Leaks also, are frequent, although this can has to pass the test of time as well, tbh.The can is compact, the two handles perfectly placed. It is sturdy, the spout is removable, easy to clean, with regular well-distributed holes—and it even comes with its own leak-proof gasket. As for the build, it seems durable, and the fact that the can is made from recycled plastic adds to the good feeling. No need for tariffs to protect this US manufacturer. They just make the best can, at a very affordable price. A winner !

Best Watering Can
I have to admit that I was very skeptical about the reviews listed about this watering can. I just didn’t see when I took it out of the box what made it so special. It’s a black plastic container that has like a little white screw on head. The shape albeit a little different than what I normally see in terms of these, but again, not sure why everyone is so impressed. However, I have to say this is the best watering can I’ve ever had over my entire lifetime. These things always leak when you are walking and water is always coming from either the top or the nozzle. They are usually very hard to carry usually leaning as you carry them that’s why the water spills out. They just are not usually great but this one is excellent. This one is designed in a way that you can carry it without leaking water everywhere. It also doesn’t seem as heavy when you’re carrying 2 gallons worth of water in it which I attribute to the position of the handle. So while it looks deceiving that it would be so special, it is the best watering can I’ve ever had. So I stand amazed and in agreement with the others that say, this is very special!

My "One and Done" Watering Can
I always used to water my potted flowers with an old juice pitcher, but I hated how the water just comes down in a deluge and makes large indents in the soil. Instead I wanted the water to "rain" down, in a more natural manner. So it was time for me to get an honest-to-goodness watering can.And oh how happy I am with my choice!Who knew you could actually love a watering can?I love everything about this can! I love the size of it, I love the feel of the handles, I love how easy it is to fill up in the sink (and how the handle doesn't get in the way of the filling hole), I love how the water rains out perfectly from the head...I even love that it is just basic black versus being a loud, flashy color.I am very happy with my $20 watering can and I know this will be the first and last one I'll ever buy.

A good watering can that is easy to control
Well, this is only my third watering can but it is the best one yet. My first can was actually a toy set that my daughter got so I just used it. It was very difficult to control where it either sprayed out with enough velocity to thow over a foot away or it dribbled down the side. The second one is a super small can has a long throw as well. This new can's spray pattern is very consistent and easy to predict and regulate. it can pour just a little or a lot with very little throw distance (almost straight down). That suggests to me that the holes are straight and clean and the design is well thought out. The ability to hold the can from the side and top make it easier to control and pour slowly even when full. I would get this again.

The best watering can but…
This is my original review:Vastly superior to the good quality watering can I was already using that had larger diameter holes in the head that obliged a higher rate of water delivery and also dribbled to a degree that I couldn’t water an indoor plant without having a paper towel in my hand.My follow up is a consequence of ordering a second can. There was excess plastic from the extrusion process on the bottom that I had to trim off with a sharp knife. There were lines from poor extrusion in multiple other places, and there were also random scratches. If the second can was the first purchased, I would probably have rated it three stars and returned it. Under the circumstances, I suspect I was at the end of a run and got a bad example, and the company’s quality control is lacking. I decided to address the failures myself using polishing compound and a knife rather than returning the can and hoping for a better replacement. So, in summary, a great product but with inconsistent production quality.

Bought another one I loved it so!
The discreetly-colored black sturdy body with its handy double handles (one for pouring, the other for carrying) and the top rear fill hole were all characteristics that convinced me to purchase this watering can in summer 2024. It’s is now 2025 and I am enthusiastically buying this now proven model for a second location. The rear fill hole is easy to access compared to top middle fill models and prevents splashing as it is lugged around the garden. I do wish the hole was wider to be able to fully seat my sprayer end accessories while refilling. I appreciate the sturdy detachable rosette, but wish it was a more discreet color vs, blinding white. The black body is great (but brick red would be a close second for those of us who have our cans out 24-7 during the season!). To my fellow senior who found the filled can to be too heavy, either just fill it partially OR carry a partial can in each hand (somehow that balance enables one to easily carry a heavier load.) Really like this product!

Look no further. This is the ideal watering can.
How have I not seen this before. A watering can is a simple device yet there are so many bad examples in the world. This one got it right. Capacity size is just right, no straining to hold it steady. The nozzle pours perfectly. Gentle dispersion, not a damaging stream. This is the watering can you need.
