I have the hardest time find a hair removal cream that works for my hair since it's so thick and this just melted it all away. I did have to leave it on for an extra 5 min but there was no bad reaction. I 100% would work slowly since everyone is different don't go for 10 min right away start at 5 and move up. 100% recommend a patch test!

I would recommend this product, but with a few caveats. If you have fine or lighter body hair and are looking for a gentle, pain-free alternative to shaving, this works pretty well. That said, if your hair is thicker or your skin is sensitive, I’d suggest doing a patch test first and managing expectations. The media could not be loaded. I have a beard. I have PCOS. It's rough and course. This product is basically the same as nair. It burns the hair off. It will cause a slight chemical burn.I saw a woman on tiktok use it that said it takes it off at the root. That's false. It just burns the bit that's on top. I still have stubble. It's rough. I get a smoother feel with a razor.Instructions: it says to keep it on for 5 minutes. I tried 5 minutes and it only took off a little. So I put some more on the patches and left it for 2 more minutes.Use a warm soft rag and wipe against the grain. Then rinse with plane warm water. Pat dry. Apply the calming stuff.It all stinks. Like really bad.

OMG! I love this product. It’s such a great alternative to shaving. The product does not have a strong smell like other products like Nair do. It does have a very minimal smell but it didn’t bother me. I will say it works the best after several days of hair growth rather that just stubble. I did not get as many in grown hairs with this either Will definitely be purchasing again and again.

Tested on my husbands very thick leg hair first because if it worked on him I knew it would definitely work on my thin hair! Took everything off in 5-6 minutes, no pain, mild redness most likely cause by me scraping and apply too much pressure with spatula. After smell wasn’t bad, and felt smooth and soft. I have sensitive skin, psoriasis and currently pregnant so some things are hard to do iykwim and having such naturally sensitive skin new products are scary but not one issue so far!

I have frequent lip hair and chin hair that grows, I also have very sensitive skin. I saw videos of people talking about how this works for them so I decided to try it. The first time I tried it, I waited 6 minutes and no hair was removed. Second time I tried it left it on for 9 min and removed a few small hairs and left burn red marks on my face and the calming serum did not work. I’m giving 2 stars since it was able to remove some small hairs so it does work, but did not work for me.

Overall I enjoy this product and will be purchasing again. I have not used other types of hair removal creams, but I am quite satisfied. My only wish is that it came with more cooling gel, or that I had the ability to buy more cooling gel separately and in a large package. I will also note that even after leaving the cream on for 8 minutes, it does not get all of the hairs (maybe gets 80%). But I like that this product is not too harsh and is easy to apply

I selected this product over other name brands because I haven’t tried a hair cream in a long time and wondered if maybe the technology has improved. Short story: it hasn’t.Pros: Flamingo’s hair cream doesn’t smell as bad as others. So it’s got that going for it. The cream itself is easy to apply (more on the spatula later). I have done Nair and Veet and usually have to let it sit 8+ minutes. Flamingo did well at about 5-6 minutes with no stinging or burning. I missed a few spots (I blame the spatula), but even if I didn’t get the full “opaque” coverage on other spots, the hair dissolved just fine underneath. Overall I liked this formula better than other brands, but let’s get into the cons.Cons: the spatula is useless. I would have preferred more product and instructions to use my own gloves. Seriously. Do not waste your time trying to apply with the spatula. Just use gloves and smear it on with your hands. Rinsing this cream off is also unnecessarily difficult. It got caught in my drain and took forever to wash away. And lastly, the price. It took one tube. ONE FULL TUBE. To do one session on both my legs. Other brands, I can get 2-2.5 sessions out of one container, and they are much cheaper per ounce.So. Overall, I like this product purely based on performance. It’s a nice change from shaving, and I get maybe an extra day or so before I need to shave again. However, I’ll stick with cheaper brands that get the job done just as well even if they take a couple minutes longer or smell slightly stronger.
