This was perfect for my needs, but different than original purpose
This was exactly what I needed for an issue we have had in our house for years. We have a door that leads to a lower level of the house. Most of the time that door stays closed. However, there are times when we are going up and down frequently and need that door to stay open. The door will not stay open on its own. This item is perfect for attaching to the door knob of the nearby closet and the connecting door. Problem solved! See pictures above, the door stays open when needed and other times both ends fit over one knob. The rope is thick and sturdy, the loops fit over a variety of handles and stay in place. It will definitely work as designed, but it also works for my purposes. I am so thrilled to find this item! It looks so much better than the braided yarn I was using to fix the issue.

The Door Stop Stopper Anti-Crash Door Handles Rope Stopper is exactly what I have needed for years. I have tossed towels over the top of the door. I have tried door top stoppers that fall off. I want my door to be a little bit ajar so my cats can get to their boxes. This works great. recommended
