Great air filter at a great price.
This air filter is great!!! It removes so much from the air we are breathing in. It has a two stage filter. It is whisper quiet on its lowest setting. On high it can be a bit loud but still not annoyingly loud. It isn't very big. I would say a just right size... About 20 inches tall give or take a few. You can even shut off all the lights while it stays on... Great feature!!! Puts out a decent amount of air flow. Works great for us!!!

Excellent air purifier and simple to use
Great purchase! I'm writing this review after having this air purifier for 2.5 years. We bought 2 of these. One for home and the other for a barbershop. They work great and we've had no issues. We don't use them all the time, and I wasn't sure how well these cleaned the air until this week. We are experiencing high air quality alerts with allergies and smoke from Canadian fires. I turned this on at home with the ac running and my coughing and allergies were finally relieved. If you have pets, a salon, allergies or kitchen mishaps then this works great and the price is good. The size is compact and esthetically pleasing, easy to move around when wanted, filter quality, brightness and power are excellent, and can turn off the light for sleep with timer options, etc. We have a 1300 sf apartment and a 1000 sf shop and it fulfills our needs perfectly. Just remember to remove the plastic off the inside filter before using it for the first time!

Simply Put: It Just Works.
I bought this product after mulling over so many options for True HEPA and H13 filter units. This one, while pricey, is not as expensive as other options ($500 - $900 and beyond). And basing my decision on the majority of positive reviews (on both Amazon and various external sites) on the Hathaspace HSP002 unit, I took a chance. The reason for me purchasing this item was because I have a child whose allergies are triggered by the slightest things that don't bother the rest of my family. Pet dander (we've got two cats), pollen, dust, and whatnot - it it floats in the air, it'll make him sneeze and cough.Out of the box, it looks fairly sleek and complements my living room furniture. Sure, it's tall, but I've had a big HEPA device before, and so I'm not bothered by its size. Out of the box, I put in the large H13 filter that it came with, plugged it in and set it to auto so that it starts doing its job. I let it clean the air from morning to evening, and it (at auto), it just runs at the lowest setting. I'm very happy that it's incredibly quiet at this setting as too much noise generated would be a big concern for the family. Even at medium speed, it's fairly muffled. At the highest speed, you'll notice it, but the sound is no louder than my ceiling fan at the fastest speed. Overall, it does a great job cleaning the air without too much noise. Also, I look at the device and it shows to fluctuate between a 6 and a 9 every single day (anything above 50 means you have relatively polluted air inside the house). Low numbers. After having this for a month, and running daily from morning to the evening, I have to say that simply put, it just works. How can I tell without hiring some microbial experts to sample my air quality? I look at my child and see how he's doing. Since we've had the device, my child's coughing and sneezing has gradually gone away in a matter of a week of the device doing its job. 4 weeks later, my son doesn't show any signs of allergy suffering. Breathing is normal, no reactions when the pets are near him, no issues with pollen (we've got plenty of indoor plants).I am also aware that the filter has to be replaced every 3-4 months, depending on how often you have it run. I was prepared to shell out the money for the filter (on a recurring basis), so I went to the Hathaspace website and purchased a subscription (quarterly) for them to deliver. $49 per filter (subscription price), for those of you curious.Overall, I am very pleased and very happy with this purchase. It's made a difference for my son, and that's all that matters to me. If a device does what it's supposed to do (and very effectively at that), then I'd say this purchase was well worth the money and then some.

Surpassed my initial expectations by a lot, but concerns over warranty stipulations
Edit: I posted my concern regarding the warranty, and the seller (Hathaspace) responded that the extended warranty went into effect with my purchase. Relieved and pleased about that, though I feel the seller could have made that more clear on their web site. Still very pleased with this product’s performance. To be completely honest, this unit was my second choice. My wife and I have been experiencing some respiratory issues, and we suspected the large amount of dust we've noticed in our home had something to do with it. After seeing how effective a much higher-priced brand worked at my daughter's home (they have two cats and an toddler, so "litterboxes" for felines and humans are present), we decided that we also needed an air purifier in our home. I wasn't willing to pay THAT much, though, so 'settled' for this Hathaspace 2.0 unit. I guess 'settled' is a bit tongue-in-cheek now, though, because I've been THOROUGHLY impressed by this device.Unboxing and preparing the unit for use was beyond easy. The control panel is big, bright, and VERY easy to understand and use. Even at it's highest speed, the device is VERY quiet. On first use, the device took about a minute to gauge the air quality around it. During this time, the LED strip on the front was blue. Because I'd set the device on the 'auto' mode, it set itself at the HIGH setting and ran at that speed for approximately an hour. After that, though, we noticed the light strip changed to green, and the fan speed began to reduce itself. It's quite sensitive to changes in the air quality; we initially set it up about 15 feet from our front door, and we noted that each time the door was opened the AQI meter would go down and the unit began revving up, only reducing the fan speed once the AQI meter had gone up sufficiently. It's fantastic at removing odors as well; my wife is Filipina, and cooks some amazing food, but also uses some ingredients that - while very delicious - emit some atrocious odors not found in a typical American kitchen. Fish sauce, for example, is made from fermented salted anchovies. It's a delicious, flavorful condiment, but it smells to high heaven. Under normal circumstances, the lingering odor of cooking with this condiment is evident for several days afterwards, but with this air purifier in place, the lingering odor was barely noticeable after a couple of hours, and simply not present the next day. While I never complained about the lingering odor, that fact that this device could remove it so effectively was pretty huge (but PLEASE don't tell my wife!!).My only concern is with the warranty. The documentation that came with it showed a QR code that (it claimed) would direct me to a site where I could register my device and receive an extended 5-year warranty. Yet, when I arrived on that URL, I wasn't given an opportunity to register my purchase. Instead, I saw a notice that the manufactured would ONLY warrant the device if it was purchased from THEIR web site, and there was no way for me to register it. I was concerned that purchasing it on Amazon would disqualify me from any kind of warranty, even though the listed seller was Hathaspace. So, as of this writing, I have to assume that my air purifier is not registered, and unwarranted. This is literally the first appliance purchase I've made from Amazon where the manufacture has prevented me from registering my purchase for even the minimal warranty. This is a pretty big concern for me; I spent close to $300 USD for this device, and I'm not very happy I'm unable to register for warranty service. Hell, I can register my toaster; why can't I register my air purifier? That alone prevented me from rating this device at 5 stars. Its not a good customer experience when the manufactures tells you they won't guarantee their product unless you purchased it directly from their web site.
