Vrry handy multimeter. Dont need any 9v battery anymore!Backlight and forward light is a good feature.

Few complaints from me about this multimeter, at least at a price of just £21 (after 29% voucher). It offers a comprehensive set of functions, switching automatically between the six key ones, and everything seems to work well. It can even function as a as a non-contact voltage tester. The backlit screen is a good size and easy to read. There’s a torch too. And, importantly, auto-off is reliable.The leads are adequate and, unlike another reviewer, I found readings to be consistent. They can’t remain attached to the meter when the meter is in its case, however.The instructions are rudimentary and rather small but well-written in good English. The required pair of AAA batteries and a screwdriver to open the battery compartment are supplied.The meter is CE-marked (self-certified?) but that’s all. No UKCA or RoHS. A possible concern? I don’t know.The included case is welcome, although you may stop using it when you discover how hard it is to squeeze the leads back in there with the meter. Very annoying. I leave the leads out.The meter isn’t suitable for professionals or serious amateur use. Apart from anything else, I’m not sure it would stand up to knocks very well. For casual users like me however, based on limited use so far, it seems to make a good buy.

This great bit of kit has all your electrical reading needs covered in one complete package.There are six different modes to choose from, including reading AC/DC voltage and current.My main reason for getting one of these was to test output on my motorbike for wiring in accessories and also for the non-contact voltage reading element, so that I can check on any live current running through power supplies, as and when the need comes to do any electric work, like changing light/plug sockets or lighting and so on.You get everything you need to start using the meter straight out of the box, including the testing leads, AAA batteries and a handy mini screwdriver to remove the battery cover. Also included is a nice storage case to put everything when it is not in use.From the readings that I have taken with it so far, it appears to give a consistent output. so all appears good on the accuracy front. Also, the meter has is CE marked, so it comes with some reassurance that it conforms with standards.When using the meter, the LCD is large and bright and very easy to read through each operation. The red/green backlight also works really well too.Should you find yourself working in low lighting conditions, there is also a handy torch inbuilt so that you can illuminate the area you are working in.What is also great about this meter is that there is an Auto mode that detects the settings for you and works well in taking out the hassle of preparing it manually.This has been a long overdue purchase, as it is always the case that you haven't got one of these when you need it, but thankfully, now I have. If I'm honest, it isn't something that I am going to use all of the time, but it is a great product to have in your toolbox for those moments that you need it. Especially for when I am working on the bike and either looking for faults or live wires to add equipment or make changes.This is a very capable bit of kit and it works well throughout all its functions. It is very good value for money and I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for this type of product.

The media could not be loaded. What a great little multimeter for the money. It autoranges so no fiddling with settings, though you can manually set the function using the SEL pushbutton, long press on this also switches the bright backlight on and off as well. The centre V-Alert button switches between Auto and Lo and Hi near voltage detection, Lo gives low sensitivity but better discrimination to track a live conductors field, Hi detects from further away, see video clip. The V-Alert long press switches the temperature display from C to F, the temperature is replaced by frequency when measuring AC voltages. In Auto it will also measure resistance if there are no voltages present and gives a continuity bleep for low resistance connections (less than 30 ohms). The leads seem to be of good quality and have shielded tips that can be revealed to make probing easier. A great addition to the toolkit at a decent price in my opinion and it even has a small torch built in, it also comes with a small screwdriver for the battery compartment, batteries two AA are supplied.

Nice small multi meter,,,contactless Voltage detection is just as random as these have always been. no improvement...The quality of the connection leads results in changes in voltages and current values displayed which is still normal...Buzzer is loud enough...No 9 volt batteery needed as it uses AAA and they supply them... (wont miss having to hunt down the 9 volt in shops)

Bel design e funzionamento molto pratico. Display con grandi numeri e strumento molto compatto.Un plus è la sua custodia molto ben fatta.Istruzioni sufficienti

Vermeidliches Schnäppchen mit einigen Schwächen. Kommt in einem kleinen weißen neutralen Karton.Pro- relativ wertig erscheinende Transport-/Aufbewahrungs-/Schutzhülle in schwarz mit Reißveschluß ( alles wieder hinein zu bekommen etwas fummelig )- Batterien dabei- das Gerät scheint gelb, jedoch handelt es sich lediglich um eine scheins gelbe Silikon-' Schutz' hülle, welche sich problemlos entfernen läßt- Temperaturfühler beigefügt- kleine handliche Bauweise- Gewicht ( mit ca. 112 Gramm bei eingelegten Batterien angenehm leicht - OHNE Silikonschutzhülle & verbundener Meßleitungen ! )Con- braucht bei Messungen 1-2 Sekunden ' Bedenkpause '- Stecker ( rot ) zum Gerät war aufgrund Verpackungsdruck erheblich oval verdrückt- rückseitiges Batteriefach mit Schraube ( statt ' Klipp ')- Bedienungsanleitung nur in ' Ching Chang Chong' oder englisch ( letzteres selber kein Problem bzw. Gerät ansich fast selbsterklärend, wenn Anwendung(en) ohnehin bekannt ), optische Darstellungen sehr klein- die oberhalb befindliche ( sep. einzuschaltende ) LED mag etwas helfen, aber hat beim besten Willen keine ' Taschenlampen' - Funktion- Preispolitik erscheint impertinent, demnach- aktuell ' regulärer' Preis 36,-- € wäre VÖLLIG überteuert !Die mAh-Meßanzeige zeigt max. 600 mAh an ( hierrüber befindet sich ein scheins angedachter ' Warn-Aufkleber' , doch SO KLEIN beschriftet, daß es zum Lesen einer Lupe bedarf ! ), würde das bedeuten, daß man bei mehr als ' nur ' dieser geringfügigen Stärke das Gerät zerstören oder zumindest die innenbefindliche, erkennbare Sicherung zum durchschmoren bringen würde ? Lt. Bedienungsanleitung soll diese Sicherung wohl bis 630 mAh abgesichert sein ?!Es wäre schön, wenn daher zumindest eine Ersatzsicherung dabei gewesen wäre, gleichsam eines klaren, eindeutigen und unmißverständlichen Hinweises, um ggfs. dieses Risiko zu vermeiden.Messungen, um mAh durchzuführen, bedürfen 2-3 Sekunden verbundener Kontakte, um einigermaßen'her-/ableitbare ' Werte zu ermitteln; Versuche mit AA und AAA-Batterien erwiesen sich in den ersten Meßvorgängen erst als nicht durchführ/-meßbar, doch dann erkannte daß Geräte zumindest eine Grund-Stärke ( sprang dabei im Display mit Anzeige(n) vorab mehrmals hin- & her ).Ich denke als kleine digitale Ergänzung all meiner Multimeter wird es daher als Back Up sicherlich bleiben dürfen, hätte ich jedoch den ' regulären' Preis entrichtet, würde es definitiv zurückgehen.
