Great except for the display
As others have mentioned, it needs a backlight, especially if you're putting it in a dimly lit area. Provides all the readings I care about (PF and W-A) and it's easy to use. Much more convenient than trying to hook up a scope too. I haven't verified its accuracy as of now.

Screen hard to view
Very accurate. The only negative is viewing the screen. Very difficult to see, despite the seller stating “easy to read screen”. In order to view I have to use a flashlight or other lighting source, otherwise it performs very well as described.

Worked as advertised
I only used for a short time when I was charging EV car and needed to pay HOA at condo for charging. Once I added my own electrical I stopped using. But it worked as it states it does.

Does exactly what it is supposed to. This is very handy for testing other products to see if the power draw is as advertised. Also useful for calculating how much your old inefficient appliances are costing you each year. Simple, effective, easy to use tool.

This model keeps the data when unplugged
I had a similar model that lost track of accumulated data (time, energy usage) when it was unplugged or the power went out. I like that this version retains the data.It's also kind of neat that this version lets you set your utility rate so that it can show you how much money you are spending to power whatever item is plugged into it.

For me this is one of the better devices used to check electricity usage of appliances and lights or whatever you can plug into it. I made the mistake of purchasing two cheaper types and immediately realized what a mistake. This is easy to operate and it helps you to know if something in your home or business is eating up too much electricity. You can enter your electric rate and see what something costs to run it by the minute, hour, day, week and year. Very helpful if you have a high electrical bill and you want to single out anything overusing power. If I was to say anything negative it would be that it doesn't have a light to read the display. Even still this product is worth the price.
