It worked well to help me trim some vinyl tiles to the desired size. The shape of the scissors made it easy for me to cut in a straight line (used a ruler as a guide). I also accidentally stabbed myself slightly with the scissors but didn't get a cut so it seems pretty safe. Obviously not for kids but I did not injure myself despite my limited crafting skills. They did the job and were at a good price point.

Obviously, there are many types of scissors, but these sheer-type scissors and above and beyond!In our household, we run through scissors often because eventually, they can't even cut through seran wrap or a plastic Amazon shipment bag. So, I had to find something much better at cutting through many substances....particularly packing supplies. Well, these cut practically anything! The fit in your hands are great as well!I will say, the blades hold tightly against each other and they are a little stiff opening, but good curing tools all do that! Cannot recommend this product enough!!

I used them to cut up the cardboard box that it came in and it was easy. I don’t have dexterity issues. These have a warning on the package that says “Do not cut heat treated materials such as piano wires or steel wires.” The instructions state that aluminum cans can be cut with these scissors. These are perfect for household items like plastic packaging and cardboard but not for heavy duty things.

I was about to give up on my cardboard projects until I found these scissors. They are fantastic...I can zip through many pieces of cardboard and be able to build more DIY projects.

These little scissors will cut through anything! I purchased these as an extra pair for sewing and basic household use, but they have turned into my go-to scissors. I just trimmed a piece of carpet with them! You need these!

The angled blades make it easier to cut contoured objects. These scissors do a good job of cutting through milk jugs.
