Hot Glue Sticks, Lookka 70 pcs Clear Glue Sticks 7mm x 150mm for Crafting, Plastics, Fabric, 20W 30W Hot Melt Mini Glue Gun

I recently bought a new glue gun and was amazed how much better they are compared to 1980s when I last used one. Although the gun came with a pack of glue sticks, I was wondering whether the improvement was from the gun design or the glue sticks. I saw this pack of 70 sticks at a very reasonable price, so I thought I would test them.They arrived in a resealable plastic bag. First thing I noticed is that they are a little smaller in length to the ones I had. Other than that they looked pretty much the same. So I popped one into the gun and tried it out. It melts just the same giving a nice thin liquid glue that's easily applied to whatever you want to stick. The bond is incredible strong on a whole host of materials. It's easily as good as the original sticks.The only thing I can't test is the longevity of the bonds and whether the glue will yellow over time. Time will tell.In conclusion, it's the improvement in the sticks that makes them better than they were back then. However, the improvements in the gun also helps.They only cost me just under £6 which is excellent for 70 sticks and should last me a long time.

the Glue melts very easily, maybe too easy to the point of loosing glue when on rest. Also it's very stringy once applied.

Happy with purchase. It is quicker drying than i purchased from B&Q.

These glue sticks are not as clear or bright as others but the length is ok & they do the job of bonding really well. For the price, you can’t go wrong. (Unsure of results if you are using the glue for a project where you need to see the glue I.e making a water effect).

Working well so far. Blues, glue at the end of the day so as long as it blues that fine by me
