Blum hardware is in my professional opinion as a kitchen installer for 30 years plus, the most reliable.I think german design and works well.Be aware that these cabinet hinges wirk very differently to many on the market which use a hydraulic ram system, which quite often fails.Blum use a mechanical soft close system that is simple and works very well.Not to say i only use Blum, i do use others that often are included in kitchen packs as supplied to my customers.Plus (which is a great plus) if so needed, the slow close feature can be disabled allowing a standard closing action. No other has this feature.Slow close is not always what customers want.

As others have mentioned, the door fitting is fine but the cabinet fitted part does not allow the thick chipboard screws to be used as the bracket holes are too small. You cannot easily use normal screws as the hole in the door is too wide and deep so you would have to fill it and redrill. I’m not clear why these are sold for the UK market if the standard chipboard screws don’t fit. The bracket looks as if it is made for thick chipboard screws but they just don’t fit.

The slow close mechanism stopped working after about 6 years on one of my kitchen cabinets. These replacement hinges were a like for like replacement and fitted perfectly within minutes. Good quality that have restored slow close mechanism.
