Very useful guide book

I have never ordered this

The product was purchased as it advertises a CD included; no such accessory arrived with the book.

Exced my expectations!

Really surprised to see the other negative review - I refer to this book all the time in my work. However this book is clearly geared towards a construction professional and/or someone with an understanding of construction details.My only negatives are that the dwg's don't appear to be 1:1 (at least when I load them) so I have to scale them up based on a dimension I can find within the book. I also find it a bit frustrating that I don't know what other details in her other books have been left out of the encyclopedia - otherwise I would buy all her books tomorrow.

Very neat drawings, clear ideas and I easily find the parts of the photographs corresponding to the specific details.

Was very impressed with this book.It is very hard to come across contemporary details, without collecting hundreds of cuttings from architectural magazines.I presume this is a collection from her other books and i will be looking out for them in a shop to see if it is worth purchasing them too.-Yes some of the details are fairly abstract and a good understanding of traditional construction is always going to help.-Major plus, all the drawings are on the CD in .dwg format!-Nice system of linking the buildings in photo format to drawing numbers seperated in to sub titles such as Floor, Roof..etc.
