My First Turkish Delight
I only know of Turkish Delight from the Chronicles of Narnia (some of you do too!) I have always wondered what was so good about them, so by chance I came across these and gave them a try. They are good, pretty, colorful and tasty. They are not "creamy, light and soft to the very center" as they were described in the book, more of a jelly-candy with tiny nuts and bits inside and out. The rose petals aren't terribly good, I would rather smell and plant roses. The pistachio flavor was faint, as were all but the coconut and pomegranate. (For the record, coconut is not my favorite flavor in general, but these weren't bad.) The pomegranate was a bit tart, and pretty good as well. The others... I closed my eyes and imagined what they tasted like more than actually tasting them. And yet, I am not disappointed in my first try of Turkish Delight. It would be a thoughtful gift for people who grew up with them. They are not at all what I expected, which led me to find something more substantial, but that's another story. Those haven't arrived yet...

Yummy food
Taste is really good and the quality of the ingredients are very good too. The smell is telling you it is fresh. The value of money is very satisfying. Not dry and the size is also good.

Waste of money can’t return
Product was 2 months from expiration date but tasted expired already. Delights were not edible and product is not eligible for return. Do not buy unless you only want tin container and are ok with throwing out candies. Turkish delights were dried out, hard to chew, and dusty tasting.

Fancy but overpriced- so much rose flavor
Bought this as a gift and it does come beautifully packaged. Each piece is individually wrapped and had a nice soft texture. There were maybe 15 pieces. We love regular turkish delight, but this was different. These were little rolls with nuts in them and coated with either nuts or rose petals. So many rose petals. I know this is a popular flavor in many parts, but it just wasn't for us. Out of 15 pieces, half were covered in roses. It was fancy but a little.too pricy for what we received. We will stick with regular Turkish delight.

Expensive and tastes like soap
The tastes gross tbh. Kind of like little soap bars in your mouth. Don’t know how else to describe it lol They do look absolutely beautiful though and would make a lovely gift. The taste is what ruins them though! What a shame. I was really excited for these. They are small soft textured Turkish delights. They’re not hard, but are crunchy on top. They don’t go stale fast but they naturally taste stale. Super expensive for what you actually get. They do smell nice though. Like pretty flowers lol so I guess it might depend on your preference.

You should try it!
It's quite good. Many turkish delights sold in America are poor quality, with no flavour apart from flat sugar taste, similar to local desserts sold at Walmart. This one actually has distinct fruity flavors and most importantly good amount of nuts! You can literally see rose petal bits around rose flavored ones. I would probably buy it again if price point remains the same
