Yes it has straps over the shoulders and bottom and they hold the baby firmly.

Q: can you completely remove the tray so baby can eat at the big table?

No, it has a removable tray that rests/slots on the main tray for easy clean but main section is permanent. We have it at out dining room table (took the place of a chair), but you wouldn't be able to make it so that baby could eat from table. Hope this helps

Great product, great value

We ordered for a visit of the grandchildren. Excellent value for money. Easy to assemble. All surfaces can be wiped clean. Would recommend.

Brilliant highchair. Sturdy and easy to clean. I had the Ikea one with broke, this is much better with the little foot rest! The immy annoying thing is the white straps which i had to remove because they got stained so quick and weren't easy to take off to clean. Otherwise, great highchair.

Good value high chair and do the job

Surprises for what I paid in term of a good product, I think it's a better model than the Ikea high chair, have all the essential requirements and in addition a spare separate top, easy and very handy to clean. Also can change to be a small chair for extra usage. the only thing is I found there were two edges that a little bit unsmooth, I need to use sandpaper to scrup them off, easy to fix that issue.

I’m a childminder and this is a great easy to clean high chair. Probably best suit for babies who can sit up with ease.

Great high chair

Great high chair so far, I love that you have a double tray for easy feeding and cleaning. My little one quite comfortable sitting in it and no problems getting him in or out of the chair.

Like the Ikea Antilop but better - removable plate, tray removes and hangs on the back, and also can be used as a low chair! Only slight issue is on laminate floor baby can scoot it along which isn’t that safe. But fine when used on a mat or carpet I’m sure
