So far I've spent 30mins just looking through the book, its an amazing insight into some of the 500 greatest paintings looking at elements of the images and prints.You can be totally immerse yourself, I'm no expert on art but at least I can now understand elements of the artwork that lead to why the art is amazing and considered the greatest in the world. From Banksy to Michelangelo a fantastic colourful guide.This is going to be a present for my wife for Christmas as I know she is going to love this.As for the price tag, the quality of this book alone justifies the cost, the paper is lovely and thick with fantastic colours that allow you to see what the artists created.Amazing

I've had a few days with it, classical music, coffee shop, people watching, a little enriching the soul with reading 'Art, Annotated' inbetween. I've resisted the urge to flick through the pages, and skip ahead to stand-outs and favourites - which is absolutely an option, should you wish it to be. But there's something sumptuous about approaching each new piece of art piece by piece.
