I use this to descale my coffee machine and it works a treat. Then I save what I have used in the machine and tip it into my kettle, I then put my shower head in the kettle at the same time. I make it do treble duty for me.... quadruple if you include when I tip it down the toilet and let that sit overnight... I'm not trying to descale the toilet because I don't have a scaled up toilet and maybe that's why? But I'm guessing if you did, this would work very well. I also wet the taps and surrounding parts and sprinkle the citric acid onto it and leave it overnight.... Its great, and its natural.
