You really want to make sure that your expectations are in line with your water pressure. Our water pressure isn't too bad but the fountain was only waist height on a three year old.

I brought a similar but smaller version of this several years ago when I moved house and they are absolutely brilliant! Attach your hose pipe to the connector and turn the water on, the water sprays out of multiple small holes around the edge of the splash mat and also pools in the centre of it for paddling or floating toys in. You can increase the spray by standing on the edges of the splash mat which my grandchildren love doing.It is so much better than a paddling pool, especially if like us your grandchildren only come round at weekends and school holidays as it means we don’t have to waste all of the water it takes to fill a pool, or having the pool standing on the grass all week and killing it. The grandchildren and the dogs all love this and have more fun with it than a pool as they can run in and out of it and not get super cold by insisting they stay in a pool that they are having fun in even though they have chattering teeth.My previous one of these lasted for several years of regular use including the dogs running in and out of it and from the quality of this one I have no doubts it will be entertaining the children and dogs for many years to come.

Mat feels well made and the plastic doesn't look like it will just rip at the first moment, so maybe good for pets on hot summer days.When I first opened the box there was a strong plastic rubber smell even though the description claims there isn't one.You can adjust the height of the water spouts by adjusting water flow on the tap, there is no other mechanism on the mat. Lots of fun to play with.

This kids splash matt is made very well, the material used is think and durable, used it on grass with some little rocks and patio slabs. Large however, the rubber ring that sits between the matt and the hose did not seal the water well and leaked quite a lot. After fixing this with my home supplier held good.In terms of the jets they do not splash as high as on the pictures shared by the seller. We have very strong pressure and we were able to only get the jest as high as about 50-60 cm not even half of what's on the pictures

Ok, I'll be honest, I didn't order this mat for children, it's actually for me and my little dog as she loves water, but only if it's really shallow and I know she'll love trying to catch the sprinkler water.Even though the size of the mat is on the description, it was bigger than I pictured it in my head, which is not a bad thing at all.It seems well made, it's very simple to use and honestly I can't wait for summer, so we can use it properly!

Good splash mat that would help keep you cool in the summer months and will save the grass from getting all soggy and water logged and everything getting muddy, which is what happens if I just use a sprinkler.
