The steel is thin and the benefit is that it heats pretty quickly: so fast and efficient but just don't turn the heating up to the nines... For cooking ( boiling / frying / for the handy person even steaming...just be nifty with the basket...) 1 or 2 doses this is a no brainer. For the ones who like to have spare capacity... this is a no brainer, again. Just don't expect it to last forever if it gets handled recklessly: as I said the steel gauge is thin, not fragile but not sturdy either. If you wreck it then there is another benefit from its pretty good price: easy to get a new one if prices remain the same

I can now deep fry a decent portion of frozen chips (or fresh home made ones). A very compact (small) fryer, but beautifully made, and will do the job.

Rubbish, very dangerous. Won't sit on gas hob, ok for boiling noodles, eggs, not with oil. Don't buy.

I purchased this fryer for cooking individual portions of deep fried ingredients i.e chips. It's easy to use on any heating source except induction.Well made of aluminium alloy. Good quality with fryer, strainer with removable handle & lid. Have used outside on butane camping stove. Excellent results.

Luv this fryer, its just right for one person. Haven't used it yet. But will do soon

I wasn’t in a rush so a longer delivery was ok. Does exactly what I hoped it would. Great price.
