This is okay. I'm still not sure if it makes a difference

I applied the granular version in mid July, when my grass appeared heat stressed. I had been leaving the grass taller, at 3.5" hoping that would help it not "burn out", and that may have helped somewhat. We have very sandy soil and watering seems futiIe. I applied the product right before a good rain, but never any supplement watering. One month later, my grass has never been this green and healthy during July and August, much greener than my neighbors. I am happy with the results and plan to use it next summer, BEFORE my lawn gets too heat stressed.

I'm using this product for overseeding per the Lawn Care Nut's advice. If you thought Milo smelled bad, you ain't seen nothin yet. It stunk my whole garage up. It was also full of black Beatles...WTF? The manufacturer clearly does not have the best quality control. I think it will serve it's purpose so I'm giving it 4 stars, but they need to improve quality control.

I purchased this hoping it would save me watering. I have applied one application. It has been raining now so I hope it absorbs the moisture to activate the molecules. I will put down another application about the first of July when the weather is hot.

Has a strong smell.
